Teams Webinar Confirmation Emails Not Sending
Hello! I'm trying to setup a Webinar for my company and several people have registered for the webinar, but no one has received a confirmation email with the calendar invite/join now link. Has anyone else been dealing with this issue? I'm unsure how to fix at this time.SolvedhaleyjoOct 18, 2021Copper Contributor15KViews0likes30CommentsNew feature "Webinar" in TEAMS - switch of name of attendees
I saw at the Ignite the presentation about the new feature webinar. I am so excited and happy and can´t wait for it. But there is one essential question for me. Is it possible to switch of that the participant could see the personal informations of the other participants? Only the organizer and presenter should be able to see the personal information like name, company.... This is really necessary for us. Otherwise we are not able to use this new feature and have to continue planning our webinars as an live event.SolvedSabineKetMar 03, 2021Copper Contributor15KViews1like27CommentsTeams Webinar Can't edit internal presenter bio
Trying to set up a new webinar but I'm not able to edit the bio of an internal presenter. I'm organizer and presenter but I can't edit the bio because the save button is greyed out. I have already tried it with Teams for Windows, Teams for Mac and also in the browser. The same result everywhere, the button is greyed out. In contrast, I can edit and save the theming. Duplicating an older webinar (where the correct bio is already included) cannot be saved either. Error message "Something went wrong, and we need to try again." I think this is a "new" Teams related issue but I'm not sure. Any idea. We have a team in our company that frequently runs webinars of 50-100 people. The 2 people who organize the webinars both have Teams Premium licenses. Attendees have regular licensing (E5). When creating the webinar they always choose the option to begin recording automatically. For the last several months at the end of these webinars the recording is saved - but to the OneDrive of one of the attendees. It is completely random; a different OneDrive every time, but never one of the organizers. It's not the first attendee to join, not the first person alphabetically or anything predictable like that. Additionally, the organizers do not have permission to view the recording so they have to work with the attendee to get the recording moved. I have already spent many hours on the phone with Microsoft and back and forth in tickets. But because we can't reproduce it on a call they say they can't help (it doesn't seem to happen when there are only a few people in a webinar). Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas for a policy I need to check?SolvedcprotheroDec 01, 2023Iron Contributor3.5KViews1like13CommentsLimit the Number of Registrations in a Webinar
Hello, we are eager to implement the Webinar Functionality in our Company and at the moment I am exploring the possibilities and found something that bugs me. In our small Webinars we mostly have a maximum size of 8 allowed participants, is there a possibility to block the registration when the system notices that I reached the allowed limit and inform the User that the Webinar is full already? Probably there is not but does someone know if this is a planned feature? If not...it really would be great 🙂 Best Regards CanerSolvedCaner1910Oct 28, 2021Copper Contributor15KViews4likes13CommentsHas anyone used Microsoft Teams Town Hall for a large event yet?
I had a client who used the new Teams Town Hall feature to run a company town hall. They checked their network infrastructure in advance - including running several silent event simulation tests, setup Microsoft eCDN for all users, and did practice runs with the presenters. Everything was looking great until the day of the event (yesterday) when meeting organizers and presenters seem to have been doing fine, but the attendees had major problems connecting. In fact, most of them could not connect and about half of the attendees who had connected lost their connection. They were spread out in multiple locations and tried to use multiple browsers and even cell phones and were unsuccessful at joining the event. Everyone was on Classic Teams or connecting via phone app or browser. Has anyone else tried this and had a successful experience? Hi All, A quick question, I am using Teams Webinars for some upcoming webinars and would like to be able to share the list of people registered with a few others in the company. As I understand it out of the box only organisers can see this information and there is no ability to add more than one organiser? I also believe that the registration information is stored in a SharePoint list, the documentation describes this as being accessible via a SharePoint mysites however I am struggling to find these in any accessible place? Any guidance would be gratefully appreciated. Cheers BarrySolvedBarryCoombsJul 29, 2021Copper Contributor4.8KViews1like12CommentsCan't Access Meeting Options ("Something went wrong")
Hello, I'm organizing a webinar on Teams, so I'd like to set the waiting room and host & attendees to the meeting I set. But I can't access Meeting Options. I was always told "Something went wrong. Reload the page or, if this keeps happening, try again later". I've tried the methods suggested in these two discussions: - Can't Access Meeting Options - "Meeting Options" not working for "Teams Free" account but none of the them worked for me. I've also tried to log into my Teams with an incognito browser, didn't work either. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance, PCSolvedPC_sonekaMay 27, 2021Copper Contributor27KViews0likes9CommentsTeams Webinar Q&A not showing for all attendees
We recently hosted a webinar through Teams and used the Q&A app. Some of the attendees did not have the Q&A feature and some did. For those that did have the Q&A button the app worked fine. How can we make the Q&A feature be available for all attendees in the future?5at38offJan 23, 2022Copper Contributor5.6KViews1like8Comments
