RESTORE PLANNER
Hello, I accidentally deleted a plan on planner. How to restore it? Thank you for your help.Solved34KViews0likes6CommentsUnable to see tasks assigned to me in Planner Premium in the "My Tasks" Teams tab
Hi, We're currently developing an application in Project for the Web (soon transitioning to Planner Premium) for a department at the company I work for. One of the key reasons we chose Project for the Web is its integration with Planner in Microsoft Teams. However, I recently discovered that only tasks from plans created in the default environment are visible in the "My Tasks" view in Planner. While I can see the plans in the "My Plans" tab, none of the tasks assigned to me appear in "My Tasks". I've read about workarounds using Power Automate to mirror tasks into Planner, but this approach isn't sustainable for long-term use. Does anyone have more information about the roadmap or whether Microsoft plans to support task visibility from non-default environments in the near future? Thank you in advance! Kind regards, Nicolas30Views0likes0CommentsPlanner - We can't show comments right now
I'm getting the following error display as a banner on one of my Plans when I open Task items. "We can't show comments right now. Check again in a few minutes" I'm almost certain that this message only appears when a Task Comment has been deleted from the group mailbox. The issue is that the error message is misleading and my users think that comments are failing to show. Is there any way to prevent this message from displaying - I don't have access to the Admin Centre unfortunately.488Views1like2CommentsGeneral Formatting
Is it possible to have basic formatting options for the Notes and Comments on a task? Bold, underline, hyperlinks, bulleted lists, etc. Hard to add any meaningful notes or comments to a task when you are limited. This is so basic and simple it doesn't make any sense.20KViews4likes7CommentsQuick Look is not showing attachments
Hi, I had many plans the were switched from Project for the Web to Planner on August 1, 2025. In those plans, I've noticed that quick look does not show the paper clip icon to indicate that a task has an attachment. Is this a glitch, or a feature? Our Events staff work in Microsoft Teams in a team called COMMUNITY EVENTS. Each event they organise is represented as a channel. Each channel has its own Planner board to list tasks to complete that event. There are 6 staff as team members and they are all doing different types of tasks inside the same Planner board. There are currently 26 events going on, ergo 26 channels, 26 planner boards. This team needs to see ALL the tasks across all 26 channels / planner boards in one calendar. I cannot figure out how to do this. Does anybody have any ideas please? Also, if we were to create one team per event, rather than one channel per event, would that make achieving this overall calendar any easier? The new version of web-based Planner was enabled for me a few days ago, on November 17th. Apparently, I realized that one of the features I used is missing. At the "My Tasks" view, in the old version of Planner, one could choose to have different views, apart from the grid view. The most useful one for me was the "schedule" view, since I could see in one calendar, all assigned tasks from different plans/teams/projects. This functionality now seems to have been removed, and one can only see one separate schedule per plan.1.2KViews6likes7CommentsMy Day - inconsistent and confusing
The My Day feature is one "potentially" one of the best hidden gems for productivity. I add tasks to My Day in To Do and then drag them onto my calendar in Outlook. But the integration with Planner is awful! My Day in Planner shows tasks from To Do + Planner 🚨 But I can't drag to order them by priority My Day in To Do for Web shows tasks from To Do + tasks in Planner I've added whilst in To Do 🚨 But it doesn't display tasks I have added to My Day in Planner My Day in Outlook only shows tasks only from To Do 🚨 But not tasks I've added to My Day from Planner It'd be amazing if this worked as you'd expect. Please let me know how I can provide this detailed feedback beyond the feedback portal.25Views1like0CommentsPlanner broken, or unusable?
Since late last week, Planner has become increasingly unusable. Buckets are being dragged out of position when right-clicking in an empty space to scroll left or right. Today, performance has deteriorated even further—opening a card now takes around 30 seconds or more, and adding comments is nearly impossible due to severe lag. This issue is affecting everyone in our organisation. Does anyone know if Microsoft is actively working on a fix for these problems?2.4KViews12likes11CommentsMissing functions in Planner for a Project Manager
Looking at integrating Planner as the company project management tool. One big issue is you can't create your own templates of a standard project plan. You can by pass this by creating a plan and naming it template and then coping when required. The biggest frustration is the inability to reset the now copied plan to a new start date without manually going into every task. Takes way to much time, can't integrated Planner until this is resolved. This function is in MS Project so why not Planner? Has anyone found a work around that does not involve Flow?106Views0likes2CommentsNew Planner Experience not showing Premium Plan (MS Project) tasks
I have the new Planner experience in Teams. In My Tasks and My Day sections I can see Planner tasks, Loop tasks, Flagged email tasks but I don't see tasks from Premium Plans a.k.a. Projects. Everything that I have read says that I should be seeing my tasks from Premium Plans here as well. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?1.8KViews0likes3CommentsEnterprise resource management and allocation in Plan 5
Hi, In the https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/planner/microsoft-planner-plans-and-pricing?msockid=329b64d7cf736c41173170e0cee36de2 page which compare Planner/Project Plans 1, 3 & 5, it states that the Plan 5 includes Enterprise resource management and allocation capability. I'm struggling to locate information what are the specific extra features come with this capability... I have Plan 3 now and since there is no trial version for Plan 5, I'll be glad to get this information before deciding if it worth investing in a Plan 5 license. Can you elaborate what are these features which are unique to Plan 5 in general and specifically to the enterprise resource mgmt part? If possible, also please provide some examples of screenshots. Thanks.1.1KViews4likes11Comments
