Performance Issues
I'm experiencing significant lag and performance issues using Planner premium in both Edge and Teams.
I'm on a brand new i7 PC with 64GB of RAM and 1GB fiber, so I know it's not my hardware...
Examples of stalling:
- When creating tasks in Grid view, after adding a 3rd or 4th task, when I tab off of the Title field it will revert back to the default text, ignoring my input. This breaks my flow state and severely slows me down.
- When assigning tasks, I'll often have someone selected and hit Enter but the UX is still rendering some random person that isn't included in the permission group, then prompting me to add them. It's soooo slow.
Ultimately, I've just procured a premium license, was excited to try the features, thought it would fit my use case, rolled it out to dozens of executives, and now have egg on my face for a horrible user experience.
What gives?

I'm experiencing the same issues. Many colleagues say it is so slow they cannot work. Simple things like adding a task (Planner 1). Things get lost. Assignees cannot be added sometimes. To open a plan takes a long time! The whole thing is buggy and slow - hoping these teething problems are being given a priority.
It really is fundamental to us. The staff used to use Todoist for business and want to move back to it.
I will stick with this for another three months. - psawyerIron Contributor
The product is very very slow. We can only hope that Microsoft retiring other Project products buts some additional resources into improving the performance, but I highly doubt that.

Being a part of a growing enterprise company and moving away from nextcloud deck last week. Here is what I can say so far.
- Finding out what plan number allows you to actually set goals, then actually create the premium plan was horrible. It took me hours.
- Now that I finally moved all my tasks over, setup plans etc... I make a interesting discovery. IT RUNS LIKE ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. This is on any computer, any location, any browser.
- No worries, we will just use microsoft project. oh wait you cant.
