Personal Booking Page not syncing with Outlook Calendar
Hi There! Outlook and Teams Calendar are synced with Apple's iCloud Calendar, but my personal booking page only shows as busy from Outlook calendar, so nothing from Apple Calendar is shown as busy, even though Outlook and Teams Calendar are both synced with Apple Calendar. Please help! :)12Views0likes0CommentsDuplicate and Confusing Calendar Entries from Microsoft Bookings with Teams on Shared Booking Pages
I am using Microsoft Bookings integrated with Teams for IT support appointments. Specifically, we use shared booking pages (not personal booking pages) for multiple team members. When a customer books an appointment via the shared booking page, the initial calendar entry is created correctly in Outlook, showing the customer’s name and all relevant details. However, at the start of the appointment, I receive a second calendar entry. This second entry has the generic title "IT-Support," is displayed in red and italic font, and shows the status "No response required." Unlike the first entry, it does not show the customer’s name, which causes confusion and clutter in the calendar. From what I understand, this second entry is likely the automated Teams meeting invite generated by Bookings to provide the Teams meeting link, but it is not personalized and appears as a duplicate. Has anyone else experienced this behavior with shared booking pages? Is there a known fix or workaround to prevent receiving this second, generic calendar entry or to have it display the customer’s name properly? Also, is there a way to streamline the booking and Teams meeting invitations so that only one clear calendar entry is created?16Views0likes0CommentsHow to Disable Email Verification for Bookings
Hi everyone, I have a user experiencing an issue with Microsoft Bookings. When clients try to schedule an appointment using his booking link, they’re being prompted to enter a verification code, which is preventing them from completing the booking. I’ve already reviewed the settings under Admin Center > Org Settings > Bookings, and everything appears to be configured correctly. Is there another area I should check to disable this verification requirement?46Views0likes0Comments- 638Views7likes20Comments
How do Team Members set their availability
When creating a Shared Bookings Page, how do I have team members set their own availability? With the amount of team member I need, it isn't possible to have a person set to update availability, since our staff's availability changes weekly. On Microsoft's Staff Roles page it states that Team Members "Can manage bookings on their own calendar and their availability in the booking mailbox." How do they get to the booking mailbox to manage their availability?24Views0likes0CommentsCustomer receives .ics files on Shared Booking
I have created a Shared Booking Page and when the customer makes a booking they receive (In Outlook) an .ics Calendar File. Does anyone know how to make this become a direct Calendar Event. Note - If a Personal booking is made the customer receives the Calendar Event directly as an Outlook booking (not an .ics) file. Which is what I expected.13Views0likes0CommentsPersonal Booking Page Keeps Appearing in my Email Signature
Hi, I am using the "Bookings for Me" feature in MS Bookings (not the shared booking page). After using Bookings for about a year and a half, I recently encountered an issue with the clickable link to my personal bookings page, "Book with Me," appearing in my email signature. When I edit my page, the "Append your personal booking page in your email signature" option is checked. However, when I uncheck it, exit the page, and return, it is checked again. The problem is that when this booking page link is added to my signature, it deletes some of my other signatures. I have around 30 signatures that I use for work, and about half of them get removed each time this happens. Is there any fix for this? I have included screenshots of the checkbox and the signature I am referring to. Thank you!177Views2likes1CommentBuffer time shifts start time off of top/bottom of hour
It is customary in business to have meetings start at the :00 (top) or :30 (bottom) of the hour. I am using a 30 minute meeting in bookings. However, if I include a buffer time, (5 minutes for example), then all the suggested meeting times shift to :05 and :35. This is very odd to present to clients, and essentially makes the buffer feature unusable. Is there a way to force meetings to the :00 and :30 with a buffer time? Here are some images that illustrate the issue. Image 4 shows the "glitch". Image 1: Bookings configured with no limitations: Image 2: Available meetings with the above configuration: Image 3: Booking configured with 5 minute buffer time Image 4: Available meetings with the above configuration (5 minute buffer time)14Views0likes0CommentsDisable Reschedule Broken
The ability to disable the reschedule feature for the person receiving the invite seems to be broken. I deselected the radio button (seen in my screenshot) in the service and saved changes. But when I test it, the email notification still provides me the ability to reschedule or cancel the appointment. In our organization, these appointments are time sensitive and legally cannot happen after a certain date, which varies for each person. We are managing over 200 appts per week, so it is not possible to do any sort of manual work around to ensure we catch unauthorized movement. In researching the issue, it looks like others have asked about the broken functionality, as seen in this 2024 post: Problem with the option to prevent customers managing their bookings | Microsoft Community Hub. But there has been no response. How do we get this issue on Microsoft's radar?41Views0likes0Commentspersonal page no longer available
Hello, The link to my personal page has become inactive, and when I go to the Bookings application, this is the message: I've already refreshed the page several times but nothing works, what's the solution? No customer can make an appointment with this problem, Thank you45Views0likes0CommentsCannot add staff or add Business Information
Hi All of sudden, I am getting "The business hours aren't correct. Please check for overlapping times or start time that comes after and end time". Business Information are all blank. When I try to add the business information, I get the error message above. It also does not allow me to add new staff , and show the identical error message. I don't want to lose all of my calendar entry. What should I do to mitigate this situation. I was using "book resources when free", against 2 place holder user account with overlapping times. Greatly appreciate any help. Thank you so much. David25Views0likes0Comments"Transient issue in Personal bookings"
I am getting this error "Transient issue in Personal bookings - Sorry, it looks like there is a temporary network problem with Personal Bookings. Please refresh or try again in sometime." I have switch browsers and cleared cookies and cache. How can I clear this error. It has effected our shared booking pages so any updates to settings, staff, or services do not save.305Views1like6CommentsAll staff availability isn’t showing
I created a shared booking site, specifically for interviews. I added other staff members and the service is configured to include all staff. The problem is that when a user books a meeting, it is only looking at my calendar availability. The staff’s calendar availability is not being recognized. The end result is that a booking is submitted and the only time availability is being referenced, is from my calendar. So Staff that aren’t available because their calendar is already booked, is receiving the invitation, but of course they can’t attend because they already have another commitment. Why is Bookings not Able to properly assess all of the staff’s availability???56Views0likes2CommentsBookings - include cancel button in notification emails
Is there a way to put an option to either automatically include the cancel button or omit it in the notification emails? Instead of adding it as an additional information because I also don't know where I can get a dynamic cancellation link that can be used to cancel any of the appointments booked. This is a pretty basic feature just like the reschedule button. The problem if there is no cancellation button in the notifications is that there is no way for the client to cancel the appointment unless he/she saved the cancellation link found in the booking confirmation page after he/she had booked the appointment via the page. Only the admin has the ability to cancel the appointment manually via the bookings calendar.28Views1like0CommentsBookings - force time intervals to be 30- or 15-min only
This is related to this post which was left unanswered. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/bookings-force-services-available-times-to-start/be7d0942-e0cf-4293-a1fe-4ac51a4a8d31 I created a service that has a 35-minute duration. So if i start at 10am, the available time slots should show as 10:00, 10:45, 11:30, 12:15, 1:00, etc. what i mean is that when a client will book at 10, even if the appointment is only for 35 minutes, the next client can only book at 10:45, and so on and so forth. this is to ensure that there will be no weird start times. I have already done the suggestion from copilot below but still not working: Set Appointment Duration: Go to the "Services" section in Bookings and set the appointment duration to 35 minutes. Add Buffer Time: In the same "Services" section, add a buffer time of 10 minutes after each appointment. This ensures that the next available slot starts at a clean Adjust Time Increments: Navigate to the "Booking Page" settings and set the time increments to 15 minutes. This will make the available time slots align with your desired intervals. Is this something that is not doable from a user perspective and really needs to have a system code change to allow for this feature? I highlighted the start times in the screenshot below that are somewhat weird when scheduling an appointment.83Views1like0CommentsBookings - Update to email of staff is not going through
I am editing the email of the staff that I currently have and when I try to change her email and click save, it doesn't do anything. I was able to change the name and color assignment though but the email change (even if editable) didn't reflect. Is that a bug or it is really not allowed and I should just delete the old one and add a new staff?21Views0likes0CommentsCategorize services in Bookings
Is it possible to have an option to categorize services in MS Bookings page such that if i have a lot of services, i can group them into categories/sub-categories and the clients will not anymore scroll down to the entire list just to look for the service he needs. Although a work-around of doing color coding or naming convention or re-arranging services is suggested by copilot, it still is somewhat an eyesore if there are a lot of services out there for the client to choose from. In other booking apps such as acuity and simplybookme, this is a basic feature.15Views0likes0CommentsBookings Buffer Time Toggle not working
I added 15 minute buffet time before and after meetings. When a meeting is scheduled, I go back into Bookings and toggle the buffet time off, hit Update bookings. When I go back to the event, the Buffer time toggle is back on. go back into the booking and the buffer is back: Any help is appreciated!50Views0likes0Comments
