In our company, we have an excel for each project, it looks something like this:
We also need to use this information in specific word documents like so for example:
Is there a way to create variables in Word, which link to specific cells in Excel? Preferably in a way where you can easily change the link to the Excel file, so you can quickly switch between projects.

Solution@PieterL_S3A The "poor man's" way of doing this would be to set up your data in the following format,
and then use that workbook as the data source for Mail Merge.
