Location of Windows Updates download with ConfigMgr

Hi, we wanted to know, when Software Updates are being downloaded from an sccm Distribution point by an Sccm client, it used to download them in the ccmcache folder, but now it seems to download them in the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

Is that what is supposed to happen and if yes, is it documented anywhere?

Hi @lalanc01 ,

ConfigMgr always downloads content to ccmcache. For updates specifically, they are then copied to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download so that the Windows Update Agent/client can install the updates. I don't think this is explicitly documented anywhere though.
