just simply don't install the insider builds and you'll be fine.
Hi,
The instructions for leaving the insider program are all explained here:
https://insider.windows.com/en-us/leave-program

If you use release preview or beta channel, you don't have to delete anything.

If you use Dev channel, you need a clean install for downgrade.

in order to downgrade from an insider Dev build which has a higher version of Windows, to the stable build which has lower version, you do need to clean install Windows.

That doesn't mean you have to delete everything. Only the drive where Windows is installed, which is usually the C drive, will have to be cleaned. So, all you have to do is to move any file you want to keep, from C drive to any other drive, then download the latest Windows ISO file from Microsoft website or create a bootable USB flash drive with the media creation tool and clean install Windows.

I suggest using OneDrive to automatically back up important folders such as desktop, pictures and documents. I always do it myself and it takes care of keeping lots of my data safe automatically.

Hello,

This depends upon which channel build you're currently on. Check different cases here:

Let us know if this helps!

Hi, @NateT27

Important note - you still have only 3 days to complete this step to seamlessly transition to the stable version of Windows11 - without losing your settings and personal files :)

Best regards
