KB5077241 fails to install
I just received the notification for update KB5077241. It downloads and seems to install until the end, then an error message appears in the update dialog: Install error - 0x800f0983 I've tried rebooting, and waiting for the update to re-start by itself, it has been in a loop doing that and failing since yesterday. I tried the Windows Update troubleshooter, it ran for a while and finished telling me it could not fix the problem, to contact support, which I did, and they directed me to post the issue here. I am running Windows 11 Home, version 25H2, and am enrolled in the Insider Release Preview channel. This is a fresh OS reinstall, and it has been working well for the past two weeks. I had to reinstall after more than four years because of persistent issues with Windows Updates in my previous installation. I was unable to resolve those problems, so I opted for a clean install, which functioned perfectly until today. Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
The outlook window shrinks each time you open it
Under Windows, when you launch software, it is displayed with exactly the same window size. It's been like this forever. In my current and apparently recent version of Outlook, for some time now I have had something completely different: whether I close it completely or just reduce it, the size of the window has decreased significantly the next time I open it. I didn't have this before. I tested by closing and opening several times in a row: the window narrows each time and it ends with a square of 9cm on each side. Depending on the manipulations, the size reduction can be faster but still there. So I have to constantly re-enlarge the window if I want to be able to read my messages or other things. I couldn't find any options in the menus that would fix this and I can't log into my Microsoft account because of the crazy security. In any case, even without a connection in the searches I did which brought me results on the support site yielded nothing. I did a repair on Outlook which didn't solve anything. Idéalement, j’aimerais garder une bonne qualité vidéo (1080p si possible) et enregistrer video youtube avec le son sans perte. Est-ce que l’outil Capture d’écran intégré de Windows suffit ? Ou faut-il utiliser un logiciel comme OBS Studio ? Si vous avez des conseils ou un guide étape par étape, je suis preneur. Until now, I used my school account to access Windows, however this account has just been deleted by my school (end of study). I can no longer access my Windows session, the account no longer exists and I do not have another school/professional account. I told myself when reinstalling Windows I would be able to access a page where I could enter a Windows key, the problem is that I am only offered to connect via school/professional account. Do you know how to do it, either to correctly reinstall Windows and then enter my license key, or to skip the part where I am asked to connect to at least access a session and then be able to do something?
