What is the Value of the Windows Insider program?
When Windows 11 was released, I quickly joined the insider program (Beta). I just as quickly left it again, as I saw no advantage for me personally. Last week, I decided to give it another go. No prob joining and receiving and installing the latest Beta. Now. No sarcasm or criticism intend. Please, no "under the hood" answers. What should I be looking for after Ms's two years of development? I finished up with a copy of Windows 11, absolutely identical to the original which I have installed a long time ago. I am unable to switch from Dev to Beta. It is grey out. According to the Dec 19, 2025 article, Dev and Beta share the same build, with the option to switch between them. It is December 23, and the option is greyed out. Changing the Regedit key does not work. I do not want any part of Dev. I did not receive a warning to confirm the selection; it locked and greyed-out Beta. Please any guidance will help. I truly hope I dont have to reinstall on this computer. As a reminder, we are offering the same builds to both the Dev & Beta Channels on Windows 11, version 25H2. If you are an Insider in the Dev Channel, you now have a window to switch from the Dev Channel to the Beta Channel if you would like. This window will only be open for as long as we’re releasing the same 25H2-based updates across both the Dev and Beta Channels. After we move Dev Channel forward to a higher build number, the opportunity to switch between these channels will close. When the Dev Channel jumps ahead, things might not be as stable as the Dev Channel is today, so we highly encourage you to evaluate which channel you would like to be in during the time in which the window to switch is open. Changes in Dev & Beta Channel builds and updates are documented in two buckets: new features, improvements, and fixes that are being gradually rolled out for Insiders who have turned on the toggle to get the latest updates as they are available (via Settings > Windows Update*) and then new features, improvements, and fixes rolling out to everyone in the Dev & Beta Channels. Problema con actualización 26220.7262 en surface 3
Hola, poseo una surface 3 pro, y actualmente estoy en el programa insider, actualmente estoy usando el paquete insider preview 26120.6982, instalado el 15/10/2025, le problema viene cuando abro Windows Update, me aparece una actualización con la versión 26220.7262, donde tengo que aplicar Descargar e Instalar, hago click y aparentemente comienza a descargar e instalar, llegado al porcentaje del 100% instalado, el sistema me pregunta si quiero reiniciar para aplicar la actualización, y que durará 20 minutos aproximadamente. Cierro todos los programas y le aplico a que instale la actualización y actualice. Comienza a hacer el reinicio, pero en ningún momento muestra la típica pantalla de: No apague el equipo, aplicando actualización. Sino que hace un reinicio normal y corriente. Cuando vuelve a cargar win11, inicio la sesión y veo que no se muestran cambios, y el paquete insider sigue siendo el anterior, y cuando abro windows update me vuelve a mostrar que hay un paquete de actualización, que descargue e instale, y vuelve a hacer el mismo proceso, descargar, instalar y reiniciar sin hacer cambios en el equipo.

Добрый день! У меня проблема с обновлением Windows 10pro до Windows 11 Я скачал помощник по установке, он запустился, прошло 3 этапа скачивания/установки, компьютер перезагрузился, но ничего не произошло, у меня загрузился мой windows 10. При этом у меня появилась папка $WINDOWS.~BT на диске С
