How to stop windows 11 from trying to install problematic update automatically.
I'm subscribed to Windows Insider Program Beta. Since Feb, I have had issues trying to install the 'ge_release_upr' updates as I get a error after going through the install process only to get error page near the end. So I gave up and just ignored the update. Up to a week ago, windows stopped giving me an option to pick which update to install and now it just downloads every update automatically. Now I am stuck with windows forcing to restart to install which ends up in error. How do I stop windows from trying to install the ge_release_upr updates? I tried installing this troubleshoot show or hide tool. But it didn't stop from downloading the update. At the moment, I have paused all updates but I still want all of the other updates.How can I downgrade dev to beta channel?
So basically I am on Dev build (26200.5600). I've just used that tool to stop getting dev builds so the tool is out of the picture for now. I signed up regularly to the Beta channel which is on 26120.xxxx . Will I be safe updating to the next Beta build when it comes or will it just brick my PC?
Black Screen After Sign-in
Ever hear of this one? This is new to me. I log in, the little dotted circle flips a few times, and then I'm greeted with a black screen and my mouse cursor, and nothing else. This happened a few weeks ago, but I chalked it up to a fluke. Happened tonight after two consecutive log-in attempts, the third one being the charm and signing me in as normal. I know this cannot be good. But, I've had problems with this machine since I received it two and a half years ago. I'm ready to trash it. I have recently tried updating my system two time from the Insider build 27623.1000 to 27858.1000 but it gets cancelled last moment no matter what. I have watched the update installing the 2nd time but it gave a message saying "Undoing changes made to your device....".I tried changing to mbr2gpt
So last night I tried to go to mbr2gpt to use secure boot, I had no issues doing so and my computer was running perfectly fine. Until today I just tried to boot it up and unfortunately it wont boot past a black screen that says “Loading operating system”, now I have the Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P motherboard and I’m not sure if that’s the issue or what it is my computer just wont boot past the “Loading operating system” I don’t know much about computers so that might’ve been my first mistake trying to mess around with settings I know nothing about lolFree apple music download after 3 months free trial?
Enrolled in the Apple free trial and downloaded dozens of songs from Apple Music. However, I didn't notice the service is not available after 3-month free trial. Now, I can't listen the whole song not to mention the downloading feature. Is there any way to get free Apple music download after trial? I can't pay the Apple Music subscription as I don't have a valid credit card. Hope someone could suggest a working solution to help download Apple Music for free on my computer. Thanks
