My C drive is running out of space, so I want to upgrade to Windows 11 26H1 to clean up junk files.

My C drive is almost full, mainly because the WinSxS and AppData folders are taking up space and are difficult to delete. I’m thinking of upgrading to 26H1 to free up some space. Will CS:GO run without errors on 26H1? If it works fine, I plan to test it in a virtual machine first before installing it on my actual computer.

The Start menu and the Win key in Windows 11 sometimes fail to open

While using Windows 11, the Start menu and the Windows logo key on the keyboard suddenly stop working completely; neither clicking nor pressing them produces any response. I have tried the following steps, but none of them worked:

Pressing Fn + Win to confirm that the Win key lock is not enabled

Restarting the Explorer process

Running the system file check with `sfc /scannow`

Currently, only restarting the computer temporarily restores normal functionality, but the issue reoccurs after the system has been running for a while. Please advise on possible causes and solutions.

How to free up space on iphone quickly when phone storage is full?

Hi everyone,

I have an iPhone that keeps telling me my phone storage is full. I don't know much about phones, so I'm looking for simple steps to free up storage on my iPhone quickly.

Here's what I want to learn:

The fastest things to delete first – like maybe old texts, photos, or app data?

How to check what’s taking up the most space – step by step.

Any settings I can change to stop my phone from filling up again so fast.

Safe ways to clear space without losing important stuff.

I don't want to delete anything important during the process when I free up space on iPhone. I mainly use my phone for photos, messages, social media, and a few games.

Thanks so much for the help!

My iPhone screen frozen. How can I unfreeze an unresponsive iPhone?

I'm hoping someone can walk me through this.

My iPhone screen is totally frozen—can't swipe, can't tap, and the phone doesn't react to anything. I can't turn off, too. The screen is just stuck on one app. What are the actual button sequences to force a restart on a modern iPhone?

I've heard something about pressing volume up, volume down, then holding the side button, but I want to confirm before I try it. Also, if that doesn't work, is there anything else I can do to unfreeze an unresponsive iPhone as the screen frozen?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I went to the Windows 11 ISO download page but there is no option for downloading Windows 11 Pro. In fact, I want to use BitLocker drive encryption on my PC. I understand that BitLocker is only available on the Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions of Windows 11, not on Home.

Where is the best place for Windows 11 Pro download 64 bit? I want to make sure I'm getting it from Microsoft's official source, not some sketchy third-party site. I've seen the Microsoft software download page, but I want to confirm the correct steps.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I want to get this right before I start downloading and reinstalling.

Running Win11 Home, 24H2.

Normally on a power on boot, I enter my Win11 password and press the ENTER key. The desktop icons are displayed within about a second.

But in about once in 8 power on boots, I enter my Win11 password, press the ENTER key and it takes about 20 to 25 seconds for the desktop icons to display. When that happens, some icons in Win11's system tray (notifications area) do not display. Especially the icons for BitDefender and AutoHotKey.

So then I do a restart (or shutdown and power on boot) and Win11 boots up normally as described above.

I've just now done the "MaxCachedIcons" registry mod per Brink's tutorial. There wasn't a "MaxCachedIcons" entry so I created it and set the value to 4096.

Will see if that corrects the problem but in the mean time, I wanted to find out if others are also having a "slow to display desktop icons" problem in Win11. And it they found the fix. (I never had this problem in Win10 with the same programs installed). I don't understand why my copy of Win11 will boot normally for about 7 times and then have the slow icons problem, then boot normally for multiple times and then have the slow icons problem.
