Could my new Windows 11 Enterprise desktop have CrowdStrike issues?
I received a new desktop computer this March. For the last several months, I have been experiencing at least weekly BSOD issues. And other problems as well. I cannot use SQL Server Management Studio 2019 or 2022, without getting errors: I have clicked the Copy button many times, only to have the issue come back again and again. I've clicked the Don't Copy button, which just results in SSMS closing. Azure Data Studio has similar problems. The BSOD problems are caused by several different drives failing, such as pcw.sys, ntfs.sys, FLTMGR.sys. I can be in any application at all, like Visual Studio, Word, VS Code, Excel, MS Edge, etc., when suddenly that app will freeze, then close. But the one thing that my new PC doesn't do is never allow me to log in, such as is suggested by this link https://www.crowdstrike.com/en-us/blog/falcon-update-for-windows-hosts-technical-details/ So, I'm wondering, with all the numerous and seemingly unrelated issues that my machine has been experiencing over the last several months, could it be experiencing a CrowdStrike issue from July?Remote Desktop on Win11 Pro toggle unable to turn on
Hello all, I noticed that the feature of "Remote Desktop" in Settings on Windows 11 Pro edition (version 23H2), is not staying in the "ON" position after trying to toggle it. It displays a message I can confirm it and it switches back to the "OFF" position. Troubleshooting steps done: Reset the NIC (which is not the issue) Taken the workstation off the domain to confirm if it was a domain restriction but will not turn on even as a local admin account (which is not the issue) I have disabled third-party AV (which is not the issue) I have disabled the Windows firewall (which is not the issue) I have allowed the port 3389 (which is not the issue) And last, there is no GPO policy It was working before and three days ago unable to RDP to my workstation. Anybody has run into this issue before and fixed it? Thanks
Windows 11 24H2 got my pc down
After installing the latest 11 on my laptop .I tried to rename my PC and then the laptop didnt switch on, then I tried to recover the PC to a windows 10 since i didnt have up to 4GB for installing 11 package but unknowingly for me after that all my PC's memory went and sinve then I have been trying to restore it through a restore point until the laptop started displaying this. Since then I haven't been able to turn mybpc on. I will love if you can guide me through how to recover my PC back to its initial state where it was using (Win 11 pro and with all my memory restored). I have tried every possible thing to restore and switch it on but it isnt switching on at all. Thank you .Pls this is urgent

I have just purchased a Microsoft Surface 7 Laptop Model 2036 Snapdragon(R) X 10-core X1P64100. It comes with Co-pilot, smart this and that, yet it cannot update windows kb 5044384. I have tried everything but the message is - Why in 2024 have Microsoft not sorted out the basic operating system problems. Yes, the move to snapdragon/QUALCOMM is the best development ever, but its spoiled by basic software problems. This is not smart in any way. Microsoft, please advise. Dr Bob. UK.
