"I had RESET my Complete Windows with the help of my Laptop's ASUS @asus Recovery Tool using Boot Manager" !!!

BitLocker often requires a recovery key if it thinks that the system is in a suspended state or if it detects changes on the computer hardware. You should have a recovery key saved when you enabled BitLocker.

I am bit lockered out of my computer this sucks because idk how to fix
- LilaiiorvCopper ContributorHow much time to encrypt a bitlocker drive (external ssd 128GB)? I have been waiting 30 mins and it only gets to 20%.
- Nobel_BaynesSteel Contributor
I have waited one hour to encrypt a 64GB USB flash drive on Windows 11 Pro. You need wait more time for 128GB drive.
- NguyenaisIron ContributorWhich encryption method you are choosing?
- EstherMomIron ContributorRight-click on File Explorer or Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator. This often helps in bypassing access issues.
- BenwingsIron ContributorNo. This is only true for apps not for the bitlocker issue.
- HolawaySteel ContributorMust type correct password for your bitlocker, then you can access to your drive.
- creativepuruBrass ContributorI have mentioned there, that I can access BitLocker through Control Panel...
But it is not accessible through File Explorer !!
- TerrompuyCopper ContributorAny other possible way rather than factory reset?
- creativepuruBrass ContributorUnfortunately, Not !!
But if you have a System Restore point created then it may help. You can roll back.
Or else, Factory Reset is the only option to resolve all the issues...- CharlieipCopper ContributorThanks for the update, bro!
- FrederickkIron ContributorDid you manage to keep the files after reset?
- creativepuruBrass ContributorSo all my Files were Safe !!!
But not the apps!
I had to Re-install and Re-configure all the applications which I was using before the Factory Reset. - creativepuruBrass ContributorYupp!!! I had Reset only "C Drive" where my Windows was installed. :white_heavy_check_mark:
I don't save any of my files in C Drive because I had this experience before as well, when I had to Reset the complete Windows😶
- creativepuruBrass ContributorThanks everyone for all your responses!!!

- RaignsonCopper ContributorThere are two much work to be done after a factory reset. This is pretty sad!
- Nobel_BaynesSteel ContributorDo you login as administrator?
- creativepuruBrass Contributor

But Thanks for your response... it's been long since I got no any Resolution from anyone from the nikita Community.
So at last I Reset my Complete Windows and now it's Working fine.
