New Office Labs posted to TechNet Virtual Labs
Great news, we've added all of the Office and Windows labs used for our Tech Summit globabl event series to TechNet Virtual Labs! Previously, these labs were only available to Tech Summit attendees. Now anyone can take them! Check out the post here.1.2KViews7likes0CommentsCheck out the Office Online Interactive Guides (click-through demos)....Feedback needed
Hello IT Enthusiasts! I'm on the Office IT Pro readiness team at MS and am always looking for impactful resources that make it easy for our customers and partners to get up to speed on Microsoft technologies. If you have attended past events (MS Ignite, Tech Summits, Build, etc) you are probably familiar with the many labs that we provide in our dedicated lab rooms, covering a wide range of topics (Azure, Office & Windows). We also have an inventory of Click-Through demos (aka. Online Interactive Guides), that cover a range of Office solutions. For those of you interested, please run through a few of these and let me know what you think. Do you like the "click-through" format? Do you like to learn this way? Do you prefer labs or Online Interactive Guides to see first-hand how MS technologies work? What products/services would you like to see? (The guides listed are Office focused but feel free to name any product) There are certainly pros and cons to both labs and Online Interactive Guides (labs mirror the "real" experience but take longer to complete and can be prone to more errors, while OIGs almost always work as expected and take less time to complete but don't allow for exploration within the enviroment and tend to get outdated quickly). Please let me know your thoughts on the below Online Interactive Guides. If the community finds these valuable, we will make them a priority and ramp up our current inventory with new experiences (Microsoft Teams, MyAnalytics, updated Office Pro Plus apps etc). Online Interactive Guides Thanks Michael KophsTake the Office 365 IT Pro Challenge (online quiz)!
Greetings fellow Office 365 IT Pros! Are you an Office 365 IT pro guru? Test your Office 365 and Microsoft 365 knowledge by taking the IT Pro Challenge, an interactive online quiz including up to 25 questions designed to test your proficiency in Office 365 and Microsoft 365 administration, teamwork and collaboration, deployment, device management and more! Several of the questions have short 30 second to 1 minute product/service showcase videos as well. Feel free to share the IT Pro Challenge with your colleagues. You can even add the IT Pro Challenge to your IT staff's required/optional training. The IT Pro Challenge is an HTML5 web app designed to run on a large, touch enabled display or on a standard pc/laptop display (touch or mouse). Option 1: Run the IT Pro Challenge on a large (any size) touch display in a common area that is frequented by IT staff. Just open up Edge or Chrome on a large touch display in your office and enter Full Screen Mode (for Edge: win-shift-enter, Chrome: F11) and let the challenges begin! Option 2: Simply send the link out to your staff and they can run the challenge on their own PC/Laptops (optimized for Edge, Chrome and Firefox). Take the IT Pro Challenge here: http://aka.ms/itprochallenge Enjoy and please post any feedback that could make the IT Pro Challenge more effective in your organization. Hi Mithun, Microsoft Learn currently does not have new content "notifications", however you should check the site frequently over the next few months as we expect to land a significant amount of new content. I have submitted a request to the owners of the Microsoft Learn platform, inquiring about adding "notification" functionality. Thanks for your feedback!1.6KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Take the Office 365 IT Pro Challenge (online quiz)!
Invaluable feedback, thanks Community!!! So far, i'm going to: -add "skip video" controls -add a "your name" field so you can get a personalized certificate I'll also explore some of the other recommendations. Thanks again!9.9KViews4likes0CommentsRe: Take the Office 365 IT Pro Challenge (online quiz)!
Great Feedback! The app was originally designed for live events, and to get the payoff, we wanted IT pros to watch the video. We quickly found out that most quiz takers were interested way more in the questions than the supporting videos. I'll add a "skip video" option in the next release. Thanks!10KViews2likes0Comments
