Re: colleges joining sharepoint sites
we would like to maintain a file/folder structure we had with our previous cloud provider - it is necesarry for us to be able to control permissions of the 600 files and folders within the 600 customers and thus building the sites seemed like the best way to control it.463Views0likes0Commentscolleges joining sharepoint sites
Is there a way, either via powershell or the Entra ID/Azure admin portal to disable mail verification for our colleges when they are invited to a sharepoint site? to specify: we will be building aproximately 600 sharepoint sites and it is going to be a nightmare if our 70 employes have to go through 2 steps via Outlook to join these 600 sites. I am having difficulty understanding the bandwidth load in regards to video meetings in Teams. I have read the content on this site : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/upgrade-prepare-environment-prepare-network#:~:text=For%20Teams%20to%20function%20correctly,and%20the%20Teams%20Chat%20services. But to understand it correctly I will give an example : if 1 person invites let´s say 10 persons to a video meeting in teams, will the bandwidth requirement then be x10 for each person participating ? will that then be 1.2 Mbps/s x 10 for each person ? and will the person who invited the others to the teams meeting, be taxed more than the 10 others, in terms of bandwidth? Secondly : if one was to invite say 60 persons to a live seminar with shared powerpoint presentations, would Teams be ideal for this? or more something like Streams? and will the shared powepoint presentation, tax all participants in a way similar to the above mentioned ? I hope i makes sense to you all 🙂 and if someone has an illustration of the logistics of it, I would be much apreciative. Kind Regards AllinSolved26KViews0likes1CommentOnedrive folder structure
Is it possible for an administrator to create a folder (I will call it “clients” for demonstration) which everyone else has default access to (and if that folder would get automatically synced to everyones onedrive desktop app, it would be wonderful!) and that the subfolders of the “client” folder are also automatically synchronized to everyones onedrive desktop app BUT the content of the “client 1, client 2, etc folders would NOT be visible to everyone ?745Views0likes0CommentsIs there a way (in sharepoint admin shell if need be) to create an organizationwide rule that ensure
Is there a way (in sharepoint admin shell if need be) to create an organizationwide rule that ensures that newly shared files or folder, are automatically synced to onedrive desktop ? We have up on till now use a different cloud service which made that quite seamless but for the sake of collaboration we would like to migrate to onedrive/sharepoint.252Views0likes0CommentsRe: Why are calendars shown with different laguages in O365 Outlook (desktop version)
thank you for that - the problem still remains though - I get " Identity "Værksted på første" but nothing under Language, datefromat, timeformat and timezone that is also the case if I do the powershell commands for some of the other resources If I log in to their respective accounts, the language seems to be DK what am I doing wrong ?1.5KViews0likes2CommentsWhy are calendars shown with different laguages in O365 Outlook (desktop version)
We have gone through all the settings we can imagine in both OWA and the desktop version - this is an example og what it looks like "Kalender" (Danish) an "Calendar" (English) what are we missing ?Solved1.7KViews0likes5CommentsDelegate is missing some emails in the sent folder belonging to the CEO (Outlook)
So this is a bit difficult to explan but a delegate for a CEO in our company, is missing certain mail in her "sent mail" folder (the sent folder belongin to the CEO.) It seems to be whether she opens the Outlook desktop version or the Web version, så perhaps not a sync issue. when I ran a trace on one particular mail sent from the CEO (which the delegate can not se in the sent folder) I can see that the mail was delivered to the person it was intended for. we have added the CEOs mail box to the delegate in the account section in Ourlook and given permissions to the delegate (from the CEOs account). we have also designated the delegate in the CEOs account section. generally the delegate, sees the mails sent from the CEO. Has anyone here come across such an issue?2.6KViews0likes3CommentsAutomated reports - device registration in O365
Hi 🙂 I am completely new to Azure, so I might not even ask the right question but... Is there a way to implement automated reports on devices registrations in O365 (users installing O365 on their devices) and have the reports sent to an email address? I have created a Log Analytics Workspace but I don´t know if that´s the right approach ? Best regards Allin Bang621Views0likes0CommentsRe: Delegate is missing some emails in the sent folder belonging to the CEO (Outlook)
very good point 🙂 is there any way from the O365 admin portal, maybe via message trace or something else, to see the status of the mails sent from the CEO? (in terms of them being marked as private and so on)2.5KViews0likes1Commentemails are getting Held because the DMARC Result Fails
One of our colleagues OOF message, does not arrive at recipient - the recipients IT department writes the following: "The email was released but Permitting/Whitelisting the sender mailto:mwn@operate.dk won’t help from our end as the emails are getting Held because the DMARC Result Fails as shown below as their email records are not possibly correct. This needs to be checked with the sender’s Messaging team so that this can be rectified." albeit my limited experience with O365 admin, I found the relevant message and its corresponding message events: Can anyone point me in the right direction. Much obliged and greetings from Denmark 🙂 AllinSolved5.1KViews0likes1Comment
