Re: Planner Tasks from Project for the Web
If you are using Project for the Web in the default environment, this is now available in the new Planner in Teams. When a user opens the Planner app in Teams, they see: My Day: Includes tasks that are due today, along with any tasks the user chooses to add to this view. My Tasks: This view includes: Private Tasks: A dedicated place for the user to quickly create tasks in a default place. Assigned to me: Shows all tasks that are assigned to the user from Teams meeting notes, Microsoft Loop, Planner, and Planner premium. Flagged emails: Emails the user flagged in Outlook show up as tasks here. My Plans: Shows all the user's To Do lists, basic plans, and premium plans. I wish someone from the Planner team would respond if this is on the roadmap. Could there be a Power Automate job that we could run to connect tasks from another environment? This should be available since best practices are to use a separate environment for business critical applications.Re: Has anyone used Microsoft Teams Town Hall for a large event yet?
We just ran a Town hall with over 700 attendees. We had an issue with iPhone users not being able to join. It would connect and then drop after about a minute. Happened over and over - no resolution. We have a Town Hall planned for Jan. 24. Due to issues you explained, we are considering running a trial Town Hall prior, recording the event and then stream "Live" as a Town Hall on the day of the event. Not really a virtual event but would allow for this failure. Last year we scheduled a Teams Live Event for a Town Hall, did lots of practicing and checking all the network. then on the day of the event had a mass failure. Couldn't present, attendees had major issues, wasn't even able to get a recording of the event. Microsoft did not provide any useful information about what happened or how to mitigate in the future.Re: Project for the Web, Project Accelerator and Teams
Is this still true that if you add Project Accelerator to another environment besides the default, you will not be able to add the Project to a Teams channel? I am having a difficult time setting up the Accelerator in another environment and following the steps for creating a custom solution.SharePoint search not working
We have had Delve off in our environment. Yesterday we noticed that our SharePoint search wasn't working. Empty not suggestions and didn't do anything. It also wouldn't work searching within sites. However in other applications such as Teams, Outlook the search would work. We turned on Delve to see if it fixed issue and today the SharePoint search is working again. Was a change made with Graph and search? Has anyone else had similar behavior. When Delve was off, this search box was blank. It had worked previously until we pushed out a Microsoft Update yesterday. Then turning on Delve allowed the search in SharePoint to work again.Re: Ownership of Channel meetings
You are correct Therese--the organizer of the Teams channel meeting is still listed in the Meeting details even though the meeting belows in the Team channel. Now we have an issue on a recurring channel meeting and the organizer is no longer at our company. We can't modify the meeting details.Stream Administration for classic Stream no longer available.
Recently our IT security team has implemented privilaged access management. Prior to this I was a global admin and managed Stream administration. Now I have been assigned lots of admin roles but Stream Administration is not available. I cannot see the slider bar to go to Stream Administration. How can I get this access back so I can manage Stream settings within our tenant. I realize the in Stream SharePoint we will not have the administration options.Re: Making IP Phone Calls with Cisco Phones
Did you receive your information? Our company has been using Microsoft Teams for almost 2 years for meetings. We have CISCO phones and are now going to use Webex for our soft phone option. I'm trying to determine if the WebEx calling app can be integrated as the Call feature in Teams. I don't want to install WebEx Teams but trying to configure Webex calling as the calling app for Teams.
