getting outlook verification code
Hi, I recieved a text message on my phone saying my hotmaill account may have been accessed. I then tried changing my password. However when you ask for the verification code via the phone text it says 'That verification method isn't working right now' . Please try another method'. Can anybody help please
Keyboard key selection issue
Hello Wondering if anyone has any idea why this is happening. When I use "shift+u" nothing happens, however if I use "caps+u" the result is what you would expect. I have uninstalled my keyboard drivers updated windows but its still happening. All other keys work fine. Keyboard is a Logitech G213 Windows 11 Version 24H2
CSPP Integration: Can a Timer Be Implemented as a Word/Excel Add‑in?
Hi everyone, I’m currently integrating Microsoft Word and Excel into our platform and making sure we follow all the recommended UI guidelines. In our solution, we use an internal timer component that runs while users are working inside our product(I mean the timer shows total time left for their tasks something like this). I’m trying to understand whether this timer can be built or installed as an Office Add‑in for Word and Excel. Would implementing it as an add‑in still align with Microsoft’s UI guidelines? Any guidance or clarification would be really helpful. Thanks!
Unwanted GroupMe account deletion
Hello there, a day ago my GroupMe was lagging a lot so I had the (not so) brilliant idea of deleting the account with the intent of my cache being cleared or something along those lines occurring. this would hopefully help the lag of the application. I did not think this through thoroughly and on thinking it over this morning it dawned on me that this would permanently delete all my information on GroupMe and I would have to request access to all the groups I was in and make new contacts of all the people I had before said deletion. At the time being I do not have access to my Gmail account so if there was a verification email for the deletion then I cannot see it or follow the steps to reacquire the account. Furthermore I do not know if there was any SMS confirmation because I cannot find it anywhere on my mobile phone which is linked to my account. It is after hours for support so I cannot get their help and I was wondering if someone could give me input on the situation. Thank you.OneDrive Files on-demand
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has some insight around OneDrive files on-demand. I found that clicking the button to free up space works just fine and all of my items switch to cloud unless I am accessing something, however, when I try to implement this via group policy, I can see the policy is being pushed because the files on-demand section of settings is now grayed out but it is not uploading everything to cloud. In fact, nothing seems to change like it does when I was able to click the button. We have tried this on multiple computers and get the same results. No GPO and the button works fine, with GPO, it's grayed out but doing nothing. Am I missing something with the GPO to force that upload to cloud? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I use this browser with two MS accounts. The techcommunity does not let me choose the user account to sign in with! I'm forced to open a private window to sign in and write this feedback. So when clicking Sign In, it thinks I want to sign in with my M365 company account, and asks me to accept certain permissions. However, I want to sign in with my personal MS account. So I click cancel and get redirected to the home page. So, in order to visit the site with my personal MS account, must either use a private windows, or clear every single cookie for every single Microsoft domain, which is also NOT what I want to do.
