How to Determine what to read
After going on vacation for a week, i'm taking a look at this network and have no idea how to find out what is new or where to start reading. When I look at the old O365 network this task is trivial to accomplish. How are we supposed to keep track of posts in this network? it seems impossible.
Registry setting to exclude specific processes from UI Automation
Hi everyone, I'm dealing with a system-wide UIA blocking issue caused by one problematic application that interferes with my other applications that rely on UI Automation functionality. One application in my system hangs and frequently blocks UIA, which prevents my other automation tools from working properly. I need a way to exclude this specific process from UIA while keeping UIA enabled for everything else. What I'm Looking For: A registry setting to disable UIA for specific processes, similar to how Image File Execution Options works. Something like: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\ProblematicApp.exe "DisableUIAutomation"=dword:00000001 Does such a feature already exist that I might have missed in the documentation? Are there any alternative approaches to prevent specific processes from participating in UIA? Would this be something Microsoft might consider implementing? This would solve the issue by allowing me to continue using UIA for legitimate automation while preventing one bad actor from blocking the entire system. Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
Edge browser "moving tabs to a different window feature is broken"
I am writing to bring attention to fundamental browser functionality issues that significantly impact productivity and user workflow organization. **Primary Issues:** **Tab Manager Extension Limitations**: Browser extensions like Tab Manager Plus cannot access custom window names that users create, despite these names being clearly visible in the browser's own interface (such as Edge's right-click "move tab to window" menu). This prevents users from effectively organizing tabs across multiple named windows. **Broken Tab Movement Feature**: Microsoft Edge's right-click option to move tabs to specific windows is currently non-functional, randomly placing tabs in unintended windows rather than the selected destination. Edge displays custom window names in its native right-click menu, proving the browser can access this data. Earlier today (9/13/2025) I ended up falling for a phishing scam via Discord, which ended up having me lose most if not all access to my Microsoft account. What I do know is that they changed the primary email, so my original email no longer works, and that there's a high possibility that they've sold it to a third party based on what they were saying. I was unable to make the automated recovery work because of the original email being changed. I'd hope to possibly get more assistance on this issue, I'll attempt to provide as much proof that I'm the original owner of the account based on my account history as: Original email address Last known password Approximated account creation date Details of my purchases Any assistance on how to proceed with this issue would be greatly appreciated!! I have an old tech community profile out there that was associated with a previous employer’s email address, and I’d like to have that profile deleted. Obviously I no longer have access to the email address the profile is linked to, so I can’t sign in and delete it myself. Is it possible to submit a request with the profile URL and the email address it was tied to and have someone on the Microsoft side process that deletion?
Issues with Multiple Microsoft Accounts Using the Same Phone Number
Hi everyone, I’m having a frustrating issue with my Microsoft accounts and hoping for some advice. I have three separate Microsoft accounts, each with a different email address, because I have three separate Minecraft accounts. However, all three accounts are linked to the same mobile phone number. The problem is that every time I try to verify ownership of one account using my phone number, one of the other accounts seems to go inactive or gets flagged. It seems Microsoft doesn’t handle multiple accounts sharing the same phone number very well. Has anyone dealt with something similar, or does anyone know a safe way to manage multiple Microsoft accounts tied to the same number without causing issues for the others? Thanks in advance!
Azure container app updating revision Issue.
