Hi together, I've been actively contributing to the Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Security discussion categories over the past 3 weeks. My profile counter shows 9 posts, but I can only see one of them in my Recent Discussions list - the other ones are completely inaccessible, not just to other community members, but also to me. I cannot view, edit, or manage them in any way. The posts cover technical practitioner topics and I put significant time and effort into writing these as quality contributions for the community. My concern is that I have no way to tell what happened to these posts. There were no notifications about rejection, no indication that they're pending moderation, and no way to check their status. They simply don't appear anywhere except as a number on my profile. I completely understand the need for content moderation, especially for newer accounts. But without any feedback mechanism, I'm unable to determine whether I should wait, resubmit, or change something about how I'm posting. Could someone from the community team look into my account and help me understand what's going on with these missing posts? I'd really appreciate any guidance so I can continue contributing. I am working as a Power Apps developer in a Dynamics 365 environment that has the Field Service module enabled. In the same environment, some users only have Sales licenses. I assigned a security role that provides read access to the Warehouse table to a user with a Sales license. The user is able to access and read the data successfully, even though they do not have a Field Service license. This makes me unclear about how licensing is enforced in Dynamics 365. If security roles alone can grant access to tables, how do licenses actually restrict functionality? Why is it necessary to purchase additional licenses if users can still access data through security roles? Could someone clarify how licensing enforcement works in this scenario and what the best practice is?Impossible to sign in with different user account
I use this browser with two MS accounts. The techcommunity does not let me choose the user account to sign in with! I'm forced to open a private window to sign in and write this feedback. So when clicking Sign In, it thinks I want to sign in with my M365 company account, and asks me to accept certain permissions. However, I want to sign in with my personal MS account. So I click cancel and get redirected to the home page. So, in order to visit the site with my personal MS account, must either use a private windows, or clear every single cookie for every single Microsoft domain, which is also NOT what I want to do. This is simply unacceptable and driving me away from using the techcommunity at all! Hello! I am overly enthusiastic to learn more about this company, and I saw three events I'd like to attend in person as I cannot do anything online, I apologize. Does anyone know if there really is this Microsoft event on March 6th in Redmond? If not where is it as It is not coming up on the list or I cannot find it. I searched for azure events and about three came up, but after I scroll and the mouse timer comes up, nothing appears, is anyone interested in describing more about azure technology to me and how it works? I'll never tell! My last question is there is an event bsides seattle, I'm so confused is it at a hotel and how do you register because it's not listed on this platform. I wish I could do the online events like this was training, but it's better to do things in person always because it's more authentic. Hi community, I had my email hacked 7 days ago, the hacker changed the password. The problem is that I have microsoft office 365 in that account and I tried every single way to recover my access. Even the ACSR, forms and everything. Nothing works. I got replied back that information provided was insufficient. The problem also is that I created this account in hotmail, maybe 20 year ago. Does anyone know any how to contact Microsoft support? How can I find a channel to support me? Dear Community, I am seeking urgent guidance regarding a serious security incident involving my Entra ID tenant. My tenant was compromised, and the attacker removed my Owner permissions from the Tenant Root Group and created two high-spec virtual machines without authorization. This resulted in approximately USD 9,500 in unexpected usage charges. I immediately blocked my credit card, and the subscription has now moved into a disabled state, most likely due to non-payment. However, I am still unable to regain administrative control. I previously managed to open a support ticket using another account, but it was limited to subscription-related issues only. Even when the case was marked with Severity A, Microsoft support was unable to treat it as an urgent incident or take immediate corrective action. At this point: • I only have read-only access • I cannot create a technical support request • I cannot upgrade the support plan • I cannot restore Owner permissions • I am unable to properly escalate the compromise If anyone has experienced a similar situation or knows the fastest way to: • Regain Tenant Root Group ownership • Reach Microsoft security team for compromised tenant cases • Escalate beyond standard support channels I would truly appreciate your advice. Hello there, a day ago my GroupMe was lagging a lot so I had the (not so) brilliant idea of deleting the account with the intent of my cache being cleared or something along those lines occurring. this would hopefully help the lag of the application. I did not think this through thoroughly and on thinking it over this morning it dawned on me that this would permanently delete all my information on GroupMe and I would have to request access to all the groups I was in and make new contacts of all the people I had before said deletion. At the time being I do not have access to my Gmail account so if there was a verification email for the deletion then I cannot see it or follow the steps to reacquire the account. Furthermore I do not know if there was any SMS confirmation because I cannot find it anywhere on my mobile phone which is linked to my account. It is after hours for support so I cannot get their help and I was wondering if someone could give me input on the situation.
