At some point in the last few weeks, image generation with Copilot in Edge was changed to include a little oval with the text "Made with AI". This is very annoying. The oval is usually within the rectangle of the image content (cannot be cropped out) and often on a gradient color area (not a solid color that can be erased). I don't mind using disclaimers that my images were AI-generated, but I don't want the image itself to be plastered with extra content. Copilot says this cannot be eliminated. Copilot "says" that it can move the oval above or below the content, but it either does not properly do that, or it puts the whole image inside a solid background. This oval makes the images practically unusable in documents due to the need to hack out the oval. Copilot says this is for "transparency", but the transparency of my work is not Microsoft's problem.397Views3likes4CommentsWindows Server Replacement Folder redirection policy won't apply
Good morning! We are hoping someone in the community can guide us in the right direction. We have scoured the internet looking for a solution and nothing we have tried works. We have a windows server that we set up a very basic folder redirection policy on. We added a user to the OU associated with it, and it worked flawlessly. The user’s account mapped the folders to the correct location and was able to save data. We then wanted to use a different folder, so we created a second policy identical to the first, but pointing to a different root folder. We applied the group policy to the server, then moved the user from the original OU to the new OU. The original redirection policy disassociated, but the new one will not apply. We simply get an error message in gpresult that states “Cannot complete this function”. We have duplicated this in a live environment and a lab environment, so it seems clear that it is something that we are doing wrong or not understanding about how this is supposed to work. Has anyone run into this\have any guidance for us? Is our expectation of how this should work unrealistic? Our expectation is that the old policy will be removed and the new policy with the new folder would then apply. Thanks very much.help.microsoft.com talk to a person

September 2023 – Community Ranks
Our Mission at the MTC is to provide a community Microsoft users can get the latest news, ask questions, learn new skills, and connect with peers and Microsoft experts from around the world. This month, we are rolling out a new ranking system designed to recognize users’ contributions to the community and add a little more ‘Microsoft’ to the MTC. What are the Community Ranks? We now have two ranking ladders to recognize both types of our tech community members. We have our Contributors Ranks for those who come to the MTC to interact and ask/answer questions in our forums, blogs, and events. Some of you Microsoft gamers may notice the subtle nod 😉 Contributor Ranks Onyx Contributor Titanium Contributor Diamond Contributor Platinum Contributor Gold Contributor Silver Contributor Bronze Contributor Steel Contributor Iron Contributor Brass Contributor Copper Contributor And for our members who come to the MTC to catch up on news and learn something new from the blogs, we have our Reader Ranks! These are replacing our Visitor/Member ranks, and once you start posting in the MTC, you will move into the Contributor Ranks. Reader Ranks Senior Reader Prolific Reader Regular Reader Frequent Reader Casual Reader Occasional Reader New Reader (Please note that these rankings are intended for fun and are not a measure of MTC’ers technical competence.) What goes into the Community Ranks? When you become a member of the MTC, you start climbing the ranking ladder, starting as a New Reader. As you contribute more and more to the community, you will start to climb the rank ladder. Here are some of the key ingredients that go into our ranking recipe (*These points are awarded each time an activity is completed): Viewing messages (0.25 points) Commenting on blogs, ideas, and TKB articles (1 point) Creating new discussion topics (1 point) Replying to forum discussions (2 points) Giving (2 points) and receiving Kudos (4 points) Contributing Ideas (5 points) Authoring blog articles (10 points) Publishing Knowledge Base articles (10 points) Getting your replies marked as a solution (15 points) Simply put, the more you engage and interact with the MTC, the more points you earn and the higher your community ranking will be! If you have any questions on these new rankings or you’d like to share feedback with the Tech Community Team, let us know in the comments below.13KViews37likes58CommentsProfile not accessible when not logged in

Hello Microsoft Tech Community, I am reaching out in hopes of connecting with someone from the Microsoft Learn Security Team. Unfortunately, there has been a misunderstanding during one of my exams, resulting in a ban on my Microsoft Certification Profile from scheduling or taking any further certification exams. I have made several appeals for the removal of the ban but have not yet received a response from the Microsoft Learn Security Team. The certification I am pursuing is critical for my professional development and career advancement. I kindly request assistance from the community or any team member who can guide me on how to resolve this issue. Your help in lifting this ban would be immensely appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Solved1.4KViews1like5CommentsForza Horizon 6 Microsft Issues

Hi together, I've been actively contributing to the Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Security discussion categories over the past 3 weeks. My profile counter shows 9 posts, but I can only see one of them in my Recent Discussions list - the other ones are completely inaccessible, not just to other community members, but also to me. I cannot view, edit, or manage them in any way. The posts cover technical practitioner topics and I put significant time and effort into writing these as quality contributions for the community. My concern is that I have no way to tell what happened to these posts. There were no notifications about rejection, no indication that they're pending moderation, and no way to check their status. They simply don't appear anywhere except as a number on my profile. I completely understand the need for content moderation, especially for newer accounts. But without any feedback mechanism, I'm unable to determine whether I should wait, resubmit, or change something about how I'm posting. Could someone from the community team look into my account and help me understand what's going on with these missing posts? I'd really appreciate any guidance so I can continue contributing. Thank you!Solved124Views0likes2Comments
