"In Review" means what? Can't message Allen"
I am a VM in Q&A (Office) and have been a participant here in the Word Community for some time. Recently I've notice the tag "In Review" on my posts. Here is an example: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/discussions/word/dynamic-pages-in-mail-merge/4531584/ What does this mean? Am I doing something wrong? I tried to send a message to Allen but do not believe it went through. When I click on "Send Message" it seems to be processing and then "Send Message" comes back active. When I checked in my profile under sent messages, nothing shows up for this. Thanks in advance. Hi, How do you turn on the Windows 11 - One Drive - Personal Vault - "Keep Personal Vault open" notification? May not have worded it exactly right but that is the essence of the question. Am on Windows 11 (personal), open One Drive, click on Personal Vault, unlock Personal Vault, Personal Vault file explorer page opens. So far no problems - works as expected. Setting for Personal Vault is to keep open for 1 hour. At the end of the hour, I used to get a notification asking if I still wanted to keep the vault open. Now - no notification and vault locks. How do I get this notification back? As said on Windows 11 with April update - have not done May yet. One of the most aggravating things about Windows and updates - is that some settings - not know to you or identified - are changed. And now you encounter different or unknown behavior. Incredibly frustrating when you just want your PC to work like you are used to. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!SolvedSimplyHumanMay 15, 2026Tin Contributor168Views2likes3CommentsIssue with registering attendance for Tech Community event
While the notification email sent when registering my attendance for a Tech Community event (Windows Office Hours: April 2026 - Microsoft Tech Community) included a calendar invitation, accepting the invitation resulted in me receiving an NDR for the acceptance response (which was sent to email address removed for privacy reasons). These invitations were previously sent from a different email address (of the form firstname.lastname at creatrixmedia.com) and this address happily accepted the meeting responses. Since you don't need the responses, you probably want to update the code creating the .ics attachment to replace RSVP=TRUE with RSVP=FALSE. Hope this is helpful.SolvedRyanSteele-CoVApr 09, 2026Steel Contributor89Views0likes1CommentPosts/Answers not appearing- submitted but not visible to me and other users
Hi together, I've been actively contributing to the Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Security discussion categories over the past 3 weeks. My profile counter shows 9 posts, but I can only see one of them in my Recent Discussions list - the other ones are completely inaccessible, not just to other community members, but also to me. I cannot view, edit, or manage them in any way. The posts cover technical practitioner topics and I put significant time and effort into writing these as quality contributions for the community. My concern is that I have no way to tell what happened to these posts. There were no notifications about rejection, no indication that they're pending moderation, and no way to check their status. They simply don't appear anywhere except as a number on my profile. I completely understand the need for content moderation, especially for newer accounts. But without any feedback mechanism, I'm unable to determine whether I should wait, resubmit, or change something about how I'm posting. Could someone from the community team look into my account and help me understand what's going on with these missing posts? I'd really appreciate any guidance so I can continue contributing. Thank you!SolvedMarcel_GraewerApr 06, 2026Brass Contributor123Views0likes2CommentsWhy is the memory manager in Windows version 1703 faster than the current Windows versions?
I tested the speed of programs in Windows version 1703 compared to the current versions, I made sure no anti virus or other background processes where interfering. Geekbench scores 13% higher in multi core tests compared to the latest Windows. When testing pure CPU performance there is no difference but memory intensive programs suffer about 10..15% in the latest Windows compared to 1703. Test were run on an 8th gen Intel i7 with spectre and meltdown mitigations disabled. Does anyone know what changed in the Windows memory manager since version 1703 and is it possible to undo these changes?SolveddzjorritApr 02, 2026Copper Contributor106Views0likes2CommentsMFA reset needed - lost phone and access to account with it
Hi! I am a single-tenant MS 365 account (business) and I lost my phone and cannot access my account any more. I cannot log into my account (because I need my Authenticator) and I cannot set up the Authenticator (because I need to log into my account for that) and I am desperate for a solution as this is my business account and has everything I need to keep my business going. I lost access on March 2, had access to Outlook on my browser until early morning on March 4 when I completely lost access to everything. What I do have: the phone number that is attached to this account (it is supposed to be one of the sign on methods, but the system won't let me use it) the password (also not able to use it to log in) the email domain is also mine, I can prove ownership I have the last invoice for the account subscription and can also provide the billing information as well as the card number that is attached to this account for automatic billing I am still using the same main device (laptop) that I have been using since the account was set up I am the only employee and the legally authorized representative for the company that the account is for (and the company name is on the invoice as well as the tenant name) You can also see that there have been no successful logins since I lost access where the account was used almost every day since it was set up (including some weekends), also proving that I am the user for the account. I am currently using my old Microsoft account to contact Support via chat but they are telling me a different thing each time we talk, I have literally submitted tickets/contacted 5 different departments/systems and just keep being ping-ponged around and the Support number that I found is asking for an 8-digit code which I guess is also the Authenticator code that I cannot get as I lost access to my old Authenticator so now I have no idea how to proceed. Tickets that I can track: SIR22967120 - I just received a notification that this has been closed because this was not the correct place to raise this YQN2RK7D - no response yet SGBQ7U9T - no response yet 4766105c-db53-40b3-92b8-ddd8c7968a0d - only the auto-reply that request was received an 1 email saying that the provided email address was not found in their system, I followed up with additional details in several emails but no further response or confirmation that anything has been received. I also sent an email to mailto:email address removed for privacy reasonsbut no response there as well I am ready to send any information/documentation to prove that the account is mine, please let me know how to proceed. I am really desperate for a solution here - this is my business account and everything I need is there - my email with all my contacts, the pending deliverables to clients, my working files, etc. This is week 3 already and I haven't had anyone ask me for any proof of ownership, documentation or anything, I don't know what to do to understand if anyone is even investigating anything regarding this, please help. Looking forward to any suggestions!SolvedStraumeMar 16, 2026Copper Contributor527Views0likes1CommentGetting to the right page to "Start a discussion"
Seeing some confusion about how to get to the right page for a Community where you can start a new discussion. e.g. Where / How to find "Ask a question" | Microsoft Community Hub Office outlook 365 .. where are emails saved? | Microsoft Community Hub I have to admit that it is not clear to me what the difference between these links is. Community Lounge | Microsoft Community Hub Tech Community Discussion | Microsoft Community Hub Why only one has "Start a discussion"? Why does a Web Search tend to land me on the one that doesn't have "Start a discussion"? Why the "Discussion Spaces" button on the one with no "Start a discussion" doesn't make "Start a discussion" appear or take me to the URL that does have "Start a discussion"?SolvedHornblower409Mar 02, 2026Iron Contributor267Views0likes2Comments
