Hello folks, Hope you are doing well and great. I have trouble with Certificate Authentication in our network environment. Let's explain in detail: 1- Our clients have a user certificate and a computer certificate issued by the Internal CA. 2-Clients try to connect to the NPS via wireless. 3-NPS communicates with the local Domain Controller and authenticates clients. Everything is ok so far. Once we decided to update one of our domain controllers to the latest patches and security updates, after a while we faced the above error on NPS, hence I have changed the DNS and functionality of NPS to another DC which isn't updated. After almost one month, we faced the above error on some sites. I have to emphasize on those sites, we have a local DC that wasn't updated, so we expected that the issue was not related to the update or any KB. After digging into this error and conducting research on the Internet, I realized the issue is related to the specific KB Microsoft release in May 2022 that affects certificate authentication. I know the best solution is updating all DCs, but for now it isn't possible for us, so I decided to find a solution temporarily to ignore this security issue, I have done all the solutions that were recommended on the Internet, but the issue still exists. Now, are there any solutions to fix the problem except updating all DCs? By the way, I found this link but I couldn't find workaround to fix the problem: https://www.gradenegger.eu/en/logins-via-the-network-policy-server-nps-fail-with-reason-authentication-failed-due-to-a-user-credentials-mismatch-either-the-user-name-provided-does-no/15Views0likes0CommentsSwitching Tenants/Profiles in Office for the Mac
I have accounts in multiple M365 tenants. I use a Mac. When I edit a document, I need to make sure the edits are occurring from the account in the correct tenant. I cannot figure out how to change my active account in Word (or other Office applications) so it is from a specific tenant. How do I do this? I know how to do it on a PC, and it works perfectly. I NEED that same functionality on the Mac.38Views0likes2CommentsRetrieving Entra ID email address from macOS devices in system context
Dear Team, We are working on retrieving email address of the user joined to Entra ID from Entra-joined macOS devices, specifically while running in a system context. The sudo dscl . -read /Users/$(whoami) RecordName command give the local user name whose password is synced with the entra ID. We would greatly appreciate guidance on how to retrieve the Entra ID joined user’s email address in a system context from Entra Joined mac devices, especially from those with prior experience in this area. Thank you for your support.56Views1like2CommentsHow to Get Microsoft Teams Phone Service Refund - Support System Completely Broken
I need help getting a refund from Microsoft for the Teams Phone service that has not been provided for 6 weeks. What Happened: Paid for Teams Phone - Domestic Calling 6 weeks ago Cannot activate due to Microsoft's broken domain verification process Multiple support agents across different teams - all incompetent Microsoft admits their phone services are "not operational" with no ETA Current Situation: Agent took ownership of refund request days ago Complete radio silence since claiming it was "escalated" Still being charged for a service I cannot use due to Microsoft's own system failures What I Need: How to actually get a refund processed from Microsoft? Escalation contacts for refund issues? Anyone successfully gotten refunds for unusable Microsoft services? Business Impact: As a small business CEO, I've wasted 6 weeks and lost revenue dealing with Microsoft's dysfunction. I no longer want their service - I just want my money back. Has anyone dealt with similar Microsoft refund issues? How did you get it resolved? Any guidance appreciated - their support system is completely broken.27Views0likes0CommentsTeams Phone Domain Verification - Weeks of Delays Despite Providing All Required Documents
I'm a small business CEO in Germany, trying to verify my domain for Microsoft Teams Phone. I've been stuck in verification for WEEKS despite providing all required documentation multiple times. Documents Provided: Official Namecheap Order Summary (domain purchase receipt from August 2025) Official domain ownership transfer confirmation to my company SPONTANEUS UG All information requested: domain name, owner, registration date, duration, registrar The Problem: Microsoft support repeatedly rejects these standard domain registration documents, asking for the same information. The requirements keep changing mid-process, and when I request escalation to a supervisor, the requests are ignored. Business Impact: I've paid for Teams Phone, but I'm unable to activate it. This is preventing me from making business calls to prospects - directly impacting my ability to generate revenue. What I Need: Someone at Microsoft who can actually read standard domain registration receipts Escalation beyond the current support agent, who keeps copy-pasting the same responses Teams Phone activation so I can run my business Has anyone experienced similar domain verification issues with Microsoft Teams Phone? How did you get it resolved? Any guidance on proper escalation channels would be greatly appreciated. This shouldn't take weeks when I have all the proper documentation from a major registrar like Namecheap.36Views0likes1CommentMFA Initial Setup Now Now Longer Offers Security Keys
Hi Microsoft Community, We're trialling FIDO2 keys for our organisation as a priamry means of MFA. We bought a handful of keys to test with a month or so ago, and at the time using a Security Key was an option on first account setup, i.e. after you have provided your microsoft ID and password you are then taken to the Initial Setup wizard. However on testing it now seems like the only options present to the user on initial setup are Authenticator, Hardware Token, and Phone Number. Why/has Microsoft changed approach here, and is there an option to permit use of a Security Key on this pane, as I can not find a setting for this within the Admin Console. It is worth noting that we can use Authenticator on this screen to complete the process, then go to Microsoft Account Security page, add a secondary means of MFA (Security Key), and then delete the original Authenticator method, leaving us with just the Security Key. Of course, this is not practical given we intended to be totally hands-off with our deployment. Many Thanks82Views0likes1CommentTCP'connections not closed when using MSappproxy

I fell for a phishing scam and ended up losing access to my Microsoft account.
Earlier today (9/13/2025) I ended up falling for a phishing scam via Discord, which ended up having me lose most if not all access to my Microsoft account. What I do know is that they changed the primary email, so my original email no longer works, and that there's a high possibility that they've sold it to a third party based on what they were saying. I was unable to make the automated recovery work because of the original email being changed. I'd hope to possibly get more assistance on this issue, I'll attempt to provide as much proof that I'm the original owner of the account based on my account history as: Original email address Last known password Approximated account creation date Details of my purchases Any assistance on how to proceed with this issue would be greatly appreciated!! Because I have quite a few personal details there that are sensitive. Thank you.43Views0likes0Comments
