Hi,

I am wondering if the mini DP outputs only video or audio as well.

If this is not the option, can the audio be extracted via USB audio adapter?

Hello @DavHoly,

The wired configurations are described here and as mentioned, MiniDP is used only for Video out. 

Audio is sent over USB-C so to answer your question, you will need to check with the manufacturer of the adapter if this is possible.

Another easier option would be to connect the device via Bluetooth to an audio receiver

Hi @Cezar Cretu,

It helps in terms of the MiniDP, however still need to do some investigation on the audio extraction.

The reason of the extraction is to ingest the audio to the induction loop for hearing aid, therefor BT won't be a feasible option as I will need both, Hub's speakers and the audio out.
