How to reinstall SQLserver license on another PC.

I have SQLdatabase license. I want to uninstall the SQL license from my current PC and install it again on the new PC. Please share a detailed procedure manual for it.

Regarding the old server, you need to uninstall the server if you are not going to use the license anymore or downgrade it to a free version (assuming all you existing use support the edition).

 

That's it. Next, in your new machine install and use the license key.

 

By the way, usually I highly recommend Not to use the forum for LICENSE questions. It might look like we understand since we orders several dozens licenses ourselves, but I learned that this subject can be very complex and you better read the small letters and understand it 100% before you recommend someone. This is less related to a DBA or any technical person and more to administrative.
