Sharepoint Calendar API Sends Wrong Timezone

Copper Contributor

Currently pulling data from a SharePoint Calendar into a Power Automate flow. When data is downloaded from SharePoint into Power Automate, the given UTC time for events does not match what was put in the event. As a result, all downstream data is off by one hour. Since the timing is only off by one hour, I've had the though that this may be related to daylight savings time, but I'm not certain.

Does anyone know if there is a setting to manually adjust the default timezone or toggle daylight savings time? Or could this be a bug present in the SharePoint API?

  • The event runs from 9:00 to 10:00 Mountain Timezone
  • This is equal to 16:00 UTC to 17:00 UTC

  • Once pulled by Power Automate, the data comes through as 17:00 to 18:00 UTC (10:00 to 11:00 Mountain Timezone). All times downstream are now one hour ahead.

Thanks in advance for any help!
