How to create a dynamic Glossary in SharePoint Online

Hello,

 I'm looking for options to make an existing Glossary of Terms and Definitions List on SharePoint Online site more usable and practical. The Glossary of Terms and Definitions list is currently arranged alphabetically but involves a lot of scrolling for viewers.

Noted some Glossary site pages on web, have added hyperlinks to alphabetical section at the top of the page and the directing links open in the bottom section of the page as a filtered subset. I have used Quick Link web part and Mark down web part to establish this settings, but links open in a different page. Wondering if there are ways in SharePoint Online through which we can establish this Like web-part , metadata or apps that can make this list more user friendly? Would appreciate your response on it. Thanks.
