Looking for any Microsoft or any reference guides\materials for SharePoint On-Prem 2016 to SharePoint Online migration.

There are lots and lots and LOTS of materials online. Have you done a search using Bing or Google? PLENTY of results to be found.

I would also suggest engaging the assistance of a consultant or Microsoft partner who has experience in doing this.

Well, true there are plenty of articles :-)...but no so much produced by Microsoft. By the way: what kind of guidance are you looking for? Migrate from SP 2016 to SPO follows the same approach when migrating from SP 2010 / 2013 to SPO
