Apparent major Bug: Disabling Auto-Archive Does Not Work

I want to retain ALL my emails in ALL my folders going back indefinitely.

 

Microsoft Outlook Desktop Application "Auto Archives" (should be called Delete) after 30 days.

 

Even if you go into Email > Properties > AutoArchive > Do not AutoArchive

 

It will still do it.  In fact I have seen this setting revert back to default of auto-archiving after I've set it to stop.  

 

Please review this thread on this topic.  At the very bottom you will see someone suggesting a "workaround".  This means it is still a bug and it needs to be fixed.  Nobody should have to hack a workaround.

Outlook is ignoring this setting 100%.  How do we address this?
