Teams room system ( so resource room ) inviting another Resource room on another tenant

Copper Contributor

Hi All

We own 2 business each with their own Microsoft tenancy.

we want to invite both meeting room resources via outlook  to setup as a Microsoft room conference between the sites. except it does not seem to send the notification to the other tenants calendar to accept and book the rooms

so we can use our lenovo hub MTR device to join the conferences between 2 tenants.

Can this be done

Hi,

As default meeting rooms in Exchange will not process external meeting requests. You can activate this per account. See more here:

@Linus Cansby   that great and i think it will work. now moving onto locking it down is there a way to only allow specific domains to be allowed to book from externally ?

appreciate your assistance

You might be able to do something in with Mail flow rules in Exchange admin. If not ask in the Exchange community.
