Re: calling plan minutes shared across all users?
Hi, To be able to assign a number and for the user to be able to dial out or receive calls they need a Calling Plan license. The minutes that are included in Calling Plan licenses will be shared among the users with the same license in the same region. So you if you have 10 users in Germany with 120 minutes plans, they will have 1200 minutes to share, one of them can use all the 1200 minutes. If you have 5 users in Germany and 5 users in USA, all with 120 minutes plans, then the German users will have 600 minutes together and American users 600 minutes. If you purchase a Calling Plan Pay-As-You-Go for all users, then you will be able to assign a number to a user and only pay for the minutes they use. You pay by purchasing Communication Credits first, or pay via NCE (New Commerce Experience) afterwards. Read more here: Microsoft Calling Plans for Teams - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn You could also use Shared Calling, with that you don't assign a phone number to users so they will only be able to dial outbound calls. This is also payed via Communication Credits per minute, or via NCE. Plan for Shared Calling762Views0likes0CommentsRe: Haha spot a typo in new Teams desktop client
English is not my native language, but I would say that it depends. In the original English language, UK English, it is spelled organisation, in the newer younger English language "US English", it is spelled organization. I guess that you have selected English (United States) in you Teams client, and therefore it should be spelled organization.744Views0likes1CommentRe: Agents in Call Queues are not able to see missed call history
The call history that you see in Teams Channels connected Call Queues are personal for the agent, so if the agent was not signed in, and was not offered a call from the CQ, then the call will not be shown as missed for that agent. The same with answered calls, agents will only see their own. Unfortunately this feature with shared called history for Call Queues is not available yet, I hope that Microsoft will come with an update soon. Hi, Yes, it is possible to assign numbers from a different country if you are using direct routing numbers. Operator Connect and Calling plans requires that the user have the same usage location as the number. I guess that you are using Direct Routing. If you call a phone number including the country code, ex +14258676537 it should work. But since you are calling from a German number, it could be that international calls are blocked so try with a German number instead, ex. +496986799799. It could also be a number normalization issue. If the usage location for your user is US and the phone number is German (+49) and the user calls a German number with out a country prefix, and you have not assigned a German Dial Plan. Then Teams will add the country prefix for USA (based on the Usage Location of the User). If your user calls Lufthansa in Germany (06986799799) then Teams will add +1 (for USA) and call +16986799799, and that is not correct. In the Usage Reports in Teams Admin Center you should be able to see the call, if you find it there check the Final SIP code, it should give a hint of what was the issue.6.8KViews2likes3CommentsRe: Teams Outbound calling not going to voicemail
Just for clarification, is this for Teams calls or PSTN (phone numbers) calls? As I understand it your user (User A) calls another user (User B). User B cannot answer but User A is never transferred to User B voicemail? If you (User C) calls User B, will you be transferred to User B voicemail? Voicemail settings should be on User B side and not related to User A or User C.980Views0likes2CommentsRe: External presenters in Town Halls
When you organize your Town Hall you should see that you are able to invite external presenters and with this update they will get an unique join link instead of the regular join link since that might not allow them to bypass the lobby as externals.1.7KViews0likes1CommentRe: Are Users with a Teams Premium License no longer able to sign into a Teams Device (Logitech Rally)?
It is not allowed to sign in to MTR systems with a user license any more. You need a room license to sign in to MTR devices. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/rooms-licensing User licenses aren't supported for use with meeting devices. User licenses that have been assigned to teams meeting devices need to be replaced by an approved Teams Rooms license prior to July 1, 2023. Meeting devices that do not have a Team Rooms license after July 1, 2023 will be granted a 90-day grace period ending on September 30, 2023. After the 90-day grace period, devices will be blocked from signing in until a Teams Rooms license is assigned. Also, Microsoft Teams Shared Devices licenses aren't supported on and won't work with Teams Rooms devices. Teams Rooms devices should only be assigned Teams Rooms Basic or Teams Rooms Pro licenses.6.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Skype to Teams Migration Issues (Skype Server Standard 2019 - On Prem 7.0.2046.244)
Hi, Just some general thoughts from me. The best would of course be that you upgrade SfB to the latest version. Another option would be to try to move users without upgrading, the minimum supported version could be just for support in case you get case you get some issues, of course this is not recommended. You could also remove the hybrid setup and change all Teams users to Teams Only and move over to Teams in a big bang. Users will not keep their contacts and meetings would not be migrated from SfB to Teams. But that could be a way.1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: I setup Teams Phone Mobile, but voicemail does not work
I think that you should report this to Verizon, if it is not on their side they have direct connection with Microsoft to be able to solve this. I've been running TPM for almost a year now and calls are redirected to voicemail without any issues.1.5KViews0likes3CommentsRe: New update for Microsoft Teams iOS app - 3rd July 2023
Yes, that is available if you are activated with a Teams Phone Mobile number and your administrator allowed you to select this in a Mobility Policy. https://www.lync.se/2023/06/user-can-decide-where-to-answer-calls-with-teams-phone-mobile/2KViews0likes1CommentRe: Why cannot find Teams Room Standard lincense with E5 Dev account?
The standard license is no longer available for purchase, only tenants with an existing agreement can use the Standard license until the agreement expire. Instead you can use the Basic license, applied automatically without any purchase, or you can purchase the Pro license. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/rooms-licensing2.1KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Feature Request: 2 Users to share screen
Hi, I think this will come, but I don't know when. This was added to the feedback portal and got enough votes so Microsoft is considering to add this feature. I would love to have it too. If you want more attention from Microsoft on this, vote and comment on this post https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/54d9f450-8b95-ec11-b400-0022482605e4462Views0likes0CommentsRe: BusyOnBusy default setting when user controlled - Graph or PowerShell available?
There is currently no option to change the default setting for user controlled, but it would be a good option to have that setting. https://www.lync.se/2023/01/busy-send-calls-directly-to-voicemail/2.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Cancelled Teams Webinar but people can still register for it and the event page is still up
Hi, Did you cancel the webinar from Teams or from Outlook? If you canceled from Outlook I can understand your issues. If you canceled from Teams, I think you should report this to Microsoft Support so they can look into it.1.2KViews0likes0Comments
