TEAMS "meetings" only supports PowerPoint and not other files types?

HI, is it true that in online TEAMS meetings only PowerPoint presentations are able to be shared and not word or PDF's?

Yes, PowerPoint files is the only file format you can upload for presentations in Teams meetings. You can upload other files for sharing or share your desktop if you want to show a PDF or Word file in a meeting. If you want to collaborate in a word document what feature is built in to word.
