Team Meetings - Why is it allowed to Rejoin a meeting which is ended

Copper Contributor

A Meeting which has been been scheduled and published in Past and ended. Any member or owner is able to join the old past meeting. Why is this feature given. It just creates confusion. The chat also gets appended in the teams for the past meeting.

Hi,

You can see more information in the uservoice about ending meetings in Teams here:

What will come is a feature that allows only the organiser to bypass the lobby, so when the organiser ends the meeting and someone joins the meeting later they will be placed in the lobby until someone lets them in.

There is another uservoice asking for a "hard ending" of the meeting. If that is more what you want you can vote for it here.
