Hello Folks

We are working on migrating some of our 2010 sites to Microsoft Teams. We have a question whether to create a Microsoft team first and use the underlying SharePoint site for migration or just migrate it to a SharePoint site first and then connect it to a Microsoft team . Will there be any pros cons for either approach. Please let me know.

Both approaches are correct in my opining...the big question here is why you want to migrate your SP 2010 sites to Teams and not just to regular SharePoint sites

@Juan Carlos González Martín Because our department has set the preferred method to using teams in SPO and customer has requested a teams enabled SPO site
