Can you link Meeting Notes to Planner in Teams?

Copper Contributor

Hi All,

I am trying to put together some tips and tricks in Microsoft Teams for my team. I was curious, is there a way that I can assign a task in Meeting Notes that will link to the Teams' Planner? That is to say, can I @mention someone and then somehow flag the item as a task that will automatically show up as an action item in Planner? And, if not, is there any other option that will create a task that maybe emails the person in Outlook?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @MKhan0402

Not currently. There are multiple uservoices open for integration such as this one

Would have a look on uservoice and vote to push up the agenda. If you vote, you'll be notified if Microsoft picks it up. There is also a community Power App called Meeting Capture v2.0 by Reza Dorrani which does this

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Community-App-Samples/Meeting-Capture-V2/td-p/342028

Would install it and try it out as it should do what you need

Hope that answers your question

Is there an app/ software, where one can take a word document which can take the summary of the meeting, using Ai, to convert the summary into task/ to do list, within a word document?
