Adding members to a team in New Teams app not working

I am unable to add members to a Team in the New Teams app. Works perfectly if I switch back to 'old' Teams.

Is this feature not working in the new Teams yet?

Yes, the feature is not currently supported in the V2 client. It should be coming soon though.
