MS Teams Recordings

Good day

I want to know if we can covert a recording to  text. I take minutes in Board meetings and find that I have to listen repeatedly to the recording to prepare my minutes.

Is there a function in MS Teams that can convert te recording into text.

Meetings can be transcribed for you and you can download the file. It has to be enabled etc. but it’s possible. This article has a quick overview to get you started on how it works.

Thanks for your reply.

I sent this info to our IT guy and he will do some research.

I am not familiar with all the IT terminology.

I told him that I need the recording to be converted to a MS Word doc.

There are platforms like Sonix that charge 10$ per hour to do this.

Can I convert an MP4 file to a MS Word document?
