Are there any plans for releasing an API for Microsoft Search?

Brass Contributor

Are there any concrete plans to make Microsoft Search available for us that develop third-party solutions based on Office 365 through an API? Has any timeframe been shared that I somehow missed?

I have searched around but I can't find any information related to his.

Hello Dan,

We are planning to release API's for Microsoft Search during 2019. At this time, we don't have more details for announcement.

Are those APIs to be under the current Bing Search APIs?

At this time, we don't have more details for announcement.

Hi, wanted to check if the MS Search API is available now? any updates on the timelines?

Hello Dan,

There are no updated regarding API's for Microsoft Search at this time.

Any updates about a Microsoft Search API?  In the Microsoft Search general availability announcement a couple of months ago, Bill Baer mentioned that details about a new API would be coming soon.

The Public API for Microsoft Search is now generally available.

This is just the beginning and more features will be coming every semester.

The Microsoft Search API is now publicly available on Graph.

This is the beginning of our journey to expose more search capabilities programmatically.
