Howdy folks,
Just a quick note for today. I'm happy to be able to let you know that we've just turned our new Hong Kong data center. This brings our worldwide footprint to 28 globally distributed data centers.
As a result, we now have two Read Replica sites handling directories located in APAC for use by our customers. This new set of replicas let us offer increased reliability, lower latency and faster user response for our customers in APAC. This new Read Replica is matched with our Singapore data center so if either of those data centers is temporarily unavailable, traffic will be handled by the other location.
Note: To learn about Read Replicas, check out
last month's post
on our directory architecture.
We continue to invest in our data center infrastructure for AAD and will post more as we expand to new locations.
Best Regards,
