Email Folder moved from IMAP to .pst file not visible but folder used file space

Copper Contributor

I recently did some reorganization of my Emails using Microsoft 365 Outlook.

My intent is to reduce the content in IMAP accounts to only that I may need on alternate devices.

I moved folders from the IMAP location to a .pst file.

However, some of them appeared to move, show the proper number of unread count in the folder pane, have the correct file size when I look at properties but shows "We didn't find anything to show here." when the folder is selected.

I'll use copy in the future and verify the new folder before deleting from the IMAP, but need access to some of these Emails soon...

Suggestions?

How about the result in web version?

Update:

While I don't know what caused the issue, I was able to recover from it by:

1. Empty my Trash folder in my Archive file.

2. Delete all from a compromised folder.

3. Delete the empty compromised folder.

4. Create a new folder with the original name.

5. Move all items (Except the deleted folder) from the Trash folder to the new one.

6. Empty the Trash.

7. Fix any rules broken by the above activity.

8. Repeat for each effected folder. (7 for me so far.)

I suspect somehow the index for the folder is compromised, but somehow works for delete.

Strange...
