Diary blank

Brass Contributor

I am transcribing my father's father's diaries, 1891 - 1965,
and my mother's mother's diaries 1900 - 1977

I want to create blank Diaries for these, in WORD.

I want a title at the top,

[ Ignore the underscores ]

__________________Gerard Clay's Diary for 1942 _____< centred, bold and size 25

then below that, a summary -
In three columns each, in three columns x four ( = 12, one for each month)
Columns 1, 4 & 7 have the day numbers,
Columns 2, 5 & 8 for the initial of the day of the week,
and columns 3, 6 & 9 left blank, but as wide as possible.

[ Ignore the underscores ]

__JANUARY _______________FEBRUARY ____________MARCH
1 M ____________________1 T Text goes here ____1 F __________________
2 T Text goes here _____2 F ____________________2 S __________________
3 W ____________________3 S ____________________3 S Text goes here
etc., etc.

Then below that again, 370 times, the date, e.g. Monday, 1st January, 1973, Bold and larger font.
then three empty lines in "normal" font, to insert the transcribed text.

Monday, 1st January 1947 _____< BOLD & Font size 16
__________________< plain Font size 12
__________________< plain Font size 12
__________________< plain Font size 12
Tuesday, 2nd January 1947 _____< BOLD & Font size 16
etc., etc.

I have an EXCEL spreadsheet that does this, where I just enter the year, click on the button, and that creates the rest.
"Piece of cake" !
(Except, of course, for years before 1900 !)

But I want it in WORD.
I can copy the Excel into Word - but
EITHER as a spreadsheet
OR without the formatting.

Question - can I do all of this in WORD ? If so, how ?
OR - how do I transfer it from Excel to WORD, keeping the formatting and columns but not the "Cell structure" ?
