I'm working on a large price book database where we have multiple sheets pertaining to various parts of pool building such as excavation, steel, shotcreet, plumbing, etc. I have a summary sheet where I total up the cost of the various components and this cost is comprised of multiple cells on different sheets within my workbook.
Is there a way I can automatically highlight all linked cells with the same color as the summary sheet cell so that when I go back through the sheets I can confirm I've not missed any data? Is conditional formatting an option?
I'm fairly versed in excel and this one has me stumped.
Thanks in advance for any help!
