Been having this issue for some time and trying to find ways to make it work. I have 2 reports, one showing amounts paid and the other showing requests. There is no transaction ID and using vlookup has created a number of issues for me. I can't really check every line item manually as it is too time consuming and there is quite a bit of data. I'm trying to find an easy way to pull matches or discrepancies between the dollar amounts and the names. Note that names can show up more than once but mainly to check if John Doe requested $200, did John get paid that $200? Why or why not? I would rather something I can just pull the data, filer and dump it somewhere to get the results I'm looking for but not sure how to do that in excel.
