I have had to run System Restore after each new Edge download because it does not inherit previous browser settings.
My homepage is designated as Google, but after download of the new Edge App, gets changed to MSN. The Home-Button still directs to Google, but Edge-Startup cannot be overridden. I have tried changing Startup under properties and settings with no improvement. The best I can achieve is the removal of the new-topics and achieve a blank page. It is also difficult to remove Bong from the new Edge is it seems to be coded into Edge as well as the Registry.
How may I prevent Edge downloads until the problem is resolved?
