As it has in previous years, Morocco is suspending its daylight saving time (DST) period for the observation of the Muslim month of Ramadan. On May 21, 2017, clocks will be turned back at 03:00 to 02:00 to end DST observation. We recommend customers using Windows 7.0 and below (and Server 2012 and below) to apply this patch for this transition to take effect correctly. More details about this update can be found here . Customers using Windows 8.1 and above (Server 2012 R2 and above) do not require an update for this transition to take effect correctly.

On July 2, clocks will be set ahead at 02:00 to 03:00 to resume DST observation. Microsoft will ship another update in June to address this change.
