Hi everyone
trying to use Azure cost management budget, I discovered that when creating a budget, it is based ONLY on Actual costs.
however, I've some solutions on Azure with 50 % of reservations (VMs or more) and I do not understand how to use the budget function in that case ?
with Actual costs, and if you selected Monthly payment for Reservations, you have each month a large pick the day of reservation acquisition, which may create alerts
As a good FinOps ( 🙂 ) and because our accounting department is sharpe on cost management for xcharges, they asked me to enable budget vs cost tracking and azure budget doesn't seem to respond to my need.
any idea to use budget when reservation is extensively used ?
thanks
