Accuracy of GPT-4 Vision to extract exact numbers from graphs

Is there any way to extract exact numbers from plots with several curves in it using GPT-4-vision? I found sometimes it is accurate and sometimes it is not? I want to avoid using a digitizer to manually extract the numbers.

To my understanding, GPT-4 Vision around 80~90% accuracy

do you have any example for this? Have you tried it before? I found it vey inconsistent in extracting data from graphs...
