in EXCEL,how do you copy NON-adjacent Cells, and paste them on the same worksheet the same way as - non-adjacent?

To my knowledge that's only with third-party tools or macros

I just have Excel2013. In this page by @Olaf Hubel, it showed multiple cell selection.
I am not sure if this feature is just for formatting or copy & paste.

Hi Willy,
That new functionality allows to unselect cells within selected range, nothing more.
The issue is with pasting - when you select non-adjacent cells, doesn't matter how, Excel paste them as adjacent cells.

I see.
If it is just to unselect, I really want to know what the action/purpose to unselect non-adjacent cells for. [off topic]
