Meeting setup in teams Channel is not allowing me to update the Agenda and send updates

I am interested to understand why when I have setup a meeting from A channel I am not able to change the invitation to all the team members. When I go into teams Calendar ,. I update the agenda description, the send updates at the top right view shows up when I do the changes , however , When I click it , the changes don't take effect.

  • Your screenshot identifies you as the organizer, and Send update appears after you edit the agenda, but the change does not persist. That is different from an attendee simply lacking permission to edit. Microsoft supports updating meeting details and attendees; channel meetings are not inherently read-only. First reopen the original calendar event and confirm you are editing the intended occurrence or series. Make one small description change, send the update, then close and reopen the event to check whether it saved. Repeat the same test in Teams on the web to separate a desktop problem from an event or service problem. Check the Required attendees field if specific recipients must receive the invitation. You cannot change or add the channel after sending the original invitation. If changes still disappear in both clients, ask your administrator to investigate the meeting with its timestamp and organizer details.
