735 TopicsThe Misleading Teams Remove External Chat from User View API
The Graph removeAllAccessForUser API is supposed to remove external chat messages from the view of a tenant user when the chat contains some objectionable material. Unless the documentation is erroneous, the API doesn’t work as advertised and the results are disappointing. All of which means that blocking content for external chats isn’t really possible. If someone gets to start an external chat, they can pump some horrible stuff into your tenant. https://office365itpros.com/2026/07/02/external-chat-api/26Views0likes1Comment'New Teams' - DOES NOT Remember Window Positions
Can anyone tell me if there is a FIX for this??? Ever since I upgraded to the NEW and IMPROVED [and I choke on those words] Teams, DOES NOT remember my previous window positions for either the main window or individual chats. The Classic Teams did this. When can we expect this be FIXED? This is HIGHLY annoying. It is bad enough that Microsoft feels the need to have this fill nearly your entire screen [as if it was the only application you used]. The very least you could do is check these sorts of issues before the app went to production and in my opinion this app is nowhere near production worthy. Please FIX this immediately or provide a workaround that can be utilized as soon as possible. I wish I could use the old 'classic' Teams, but it will no longer let me. At least it would remember my previous Window Positions.896Views2likes1CommentMicrosoft Teams PowerShell Module 7.6.0 is broken
Dear Community I have a few Script with Microsoft Teams PowerShell, witch authenticate via Access Token. Everything works fine until latest Microsoft Teams PowerShell Module Update 7.6.0. I got following Error with the Script. Connect-MicrosoftTeams : Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.IdentityModel.JsonWebTokens, Version=8.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. If I downgrade my environment from Version 7.6.0 to Version 7.5.0 and rerun my script, the authentication is working as expected. What is wrong here with latest PowerShell Module 7.6.0 and how can I resolve the issue Many thanks for sharing any hint or tip ANDY615Views3likes3CommentsUnable to remove old account sing up form Teams on Mac OS
I cannot remove an old sing account from Teams on Mac OS. I have to delete the keychain, I delete the temp folder, and remove and reinstall Teams, and the old account is still there. I have a case open with the Microsoft team, and they cannot figure it out. Where is the login info store, and why has Microsoft not provided a solution where users can remove accounts as easily as they can add? Please help!34KViews2likes41CommentsLink URL to Team Channel
Hello all, I'm trying to link a URL from a fillable PDF to a "Teams Channel". If I plug in the following URL, it works great (it links the user directly to a personal Teams Chat). However, rather than link the user to Chat channel, I want the user to be linked directly to a general Teams Channel. (I hope this makes sense). Is any of this possible? https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users=XXX@XXX.com&topicName=Completed-training&message=TrainingTraining Complete:Solved116KViews1like7CommentsProfile Picture not updating

Good evening everyone, I need to create a calendar for a private channel. I was hoping someone could provide me with some advice on the best way to accomplish this with OOB Microsoft technology. I was thinking of creating a group calendar and having a PowerApp / Flow add items to it from the team's channel. Would love to hear some other thoughts on this. Any information is appreciated, Hyde124Views0likes2CommentsHow to post Teams Channel post to Sharepoint as news
