Disable members from starting meetings for a specific Team only

We have a number of large Teams, and need to disable/turn off the ability for members of these particular Teams to start Teams meetings within those Teams only (entire Team or Channel) --- NOT turn off the ability for the members in ALL Teams they are a member of.

I see options for creating a Teams Meeting Policy to apply to users (and some discussion from several years ago at which time it wasn't possible), but nothing current about such a policy for specific Teams.

Is there a way to disable this functionality only for specific Teams?

SW-SoCo2 hey, it sounds like you're talking about the ability to start and instant channel meeting by pressing the 'meet now' button.

Unfortunately, like you've discovered - this is set at the user-level, not the Team level. This means if apply the policy to a user, they won't be able to start instant meetings in any Team.

What's the issue you're facing? Is it a problem with the 'meet now' button or do you want to stop people using the channel meetings altogether in certain Teams?
