Something went wrong - Forms - Permissions?
Sent out an office 365 form as normal but none of our users can access it, getting an error message saying ‘something went wrong’ and that they don’t have permission to access the form, despite being logged in with their 365 credentials and attempting to access from an AAD Joined device.
I see this has been a previous issue but I’ve never had a problem till now.
Is this a known current issue as there’s no advisory or service interruption notice on the admin portal health section for this?
A speedy response and solution would be amazing!
Cheers,
Nicholas

- qnasratCopper ContributorYou can try access the Admin and locate the user. Un-tick all other roles remaining only Global Admin.
This issue was due to the fact that I had assigned a lot of roles to the affected user - noahsparksBronze Contributor
Yao Ke Yihua Cao (MODC) Zhongzhong_Li What is the best way to have this issue resolved? A direct message? Very disappointing to see the duration of this issue across multiple years.

Sorry for the delay, all the root cause are not same even the message is similar. So we need to analyze case by case. If you seeing this issue with the form in your tenant, please work with your admin to open a support ticket for the issue, we have dedicate support team on this.- SteveTMSUsernameCopper ContributorCan you supply the link to where I need to generate a support ticket along with the selections needed so that it ends up with the correct support team.

This MS Forms Pro Form has been in use for some time, albeit it's been a while since used. Upon applying it again, no user seems able to complete the form, although it has been successfully sent via mail. It states "survey is closed or no new answers can be submitted", though no limitations are set on forms level.
Thank you in advance - Devyani2150Copper Contributor

Access has been denied because the user is not the form owner and does not have permission to edit that particular form, if you want to response to that form, make sure you access it through response link.
I would like to ask how the forms was shared
If it was shared to only people in org can edit and you are getting access denied
I would like you to open your browser in-private mode and try accessing the form.
there is a possibility that the browser has cached the wrong credential hence, when you try accessing the forms since its set to only people in org
Please lets know the behavior when this has been achieved

Devyani2150 Can you share the form id you try to access and provide your tenant id (if possible also provide the userid)?
Kindly check if this is affecting all users in the organization Nicholas_DBG
If yes, Kindly check the CollabDBService in azure portal
Ensure you have global admin right then navigate to portal.azure.com>azure active directory>Enterprise Applications>collabeDBservice>Properties>Enabled for users to sign> Yes.
I hope this works for you .
